En stilla lyxresa i Komodo med Dirga Kabila
Vi valde Dirga Kabila Boat för vår babymoon – en av de få gånger vi kunnat ta oss bort från jobbet i Stockholm utan stress. Med 22 meter och fyra cabiner kändes den lagom intim, särskilt med bara sju gäster ombord. Vår master suite var stilren: ljusa träytor, ren linne-känsla och ett badrum som kändes nästan för stort för en båt. Det var tydligt att designen från 2017 hållit sig smakfullt tidlös. Itinerariet tog oss till Manta Point och Kanawa Island, och det var vid Kanawa som vi stod hand i hand i gryningen, såg havet skimra och kände att tiden faktiskt stod stilla. Snorklingen där är world class – det säger en del från en som är van vid Östafrikas rev. Kaptenslaget var diskret men aldrig frånvarande, och lunchen på däck med fisk som nyss var i havet var enkel men perfekt. Lite synd att wifi var lite spotty, men kanske det var just poängen. Vi hade gärna haft en dag till – kanske till Rinca Island, för att se draken på nära håll. Det enda som kändes något suboptimalt var att duschen ibland tappade tryck, men ingen större sak. Den här typen av slow travel, med rätt båt och rätt rytm, känns som den enda vuxna formen av semester. Dirga Kabila Boat levererade stillheten vi behövde.

Dari Rantauprapat, aku ajak 5 teman SMA untuk reunion di atas kapal. Dirga Kabila Boat cukup besar untuk group, tapi tetap intimate. 5 hari sailing ke Manjarite dan Nusa Kode—tempat yang jarang dikunjungi mass tourism. Di Manjarite, kita hiking ke puncak, lalu langsung jump ke crystal water. Sensasi itu? Priceless. Mereka sediakan kayak dan paddleboard—aku spent hours explore bay kecil. Mit zwei Kindern (8 und 11) im Schlepptau war ich skeptisch, ob ein phinisi wirklich der richtige Rahmen ist. Doch die Dirga Kabila Boat hat uns positiv überrascht. Die Master Suite war geräumig genug, um auch mit zwei zusätzlichen Betten zu funktionieren, und das Deck bot genug Platz zum Toben – sicher abgesichert. Besonders beeindruckt waren die Kinder von Manta Point: Sie konnten direkt vom Boot aus die Rochen sehen, ohne gleich tauchen zu müssen. Am liebsten mochten sie Kanawa Island, wo wir Muscheln sammelten und ein Picknick machten. Die Crew war unglaublich geduldig, sogar mit einem extra kinderfreundlichen Snack zwischen den Mahlzeiten. Die Mahlzeiten waren abwechslungsreich, mit frischem Obst und leichten Gerichten – ideal bei tropischer Hitze. Einzig der Weg nach Wae Rebo war etwas anstrengend für die Kleinen; der hike war fordernd, aber der Ausblick lohnte. Hätte gewünscht, dass der itinerary einen ruhigeren Tag mehr einplant. Trotzdem: Ein sehr gelungener Mix aus Entspannung und Abenteuer. Die Kinder reden heute noch vom 'perfekt day' am Long Beach.

Ein perfekter Birthday auf dem Wasser
Um meinen 40. mit Freunden zu feiern, suchte ich etwas Besonderes – und fand die Dirga Kabila Boat. Von Anfang an war alles so smooth: der private Transfer von Labuan Bajo, das Crew-Welcome mit frischem Kokoswasser. Unser master suite cabin war minimalistisch elegant, mit genug Platz für meine Yogamatte – ein kleiner Wunsch, den die Crew sofort erfüllte. Wir starteten bei Taka Makassar: kristallklares Wasser, pastellfarbene Riffe, ein Unterwasser-Paradies. Die guide war top ausgebildet, perfekt für unsere dive group. Am Abend ankerten wir bei Kalong Island – das Sunset mit einem Gin Tonic an Deck, umgeben vom Flügelschlag der Fledermäuse, war pure Magie. Einzig der Wi-Fi-Empfang war schwach – aber eigentlich war das sogar ein Feature, kein Bug. Die Balance zwischen adventure und Entspannung stimmte: jeden Morgen eine kurze meditation session, danach snorkeling oder hike. Die Küche? Absolute Highlights: gegrillter Mahi-Mahi mit lokalen Gewürzen, serviert unter Sternen. Die Dirga Kabila Boat bietet nicht nur einen luxury experience, sondern echte Verbundenheit mit der Natur. Unser captain wusste immer den perfect spot für einen drone shot. Definitiv ein highlight-Itinerary – auch für HNW-Reisende, die Wert auf Intimität legen.
