Sunrise di Gili Lawa itu Worth the Wake-Up Call
The vibe onboard is so relaxed tapi tetap profesional, perfect untuk team bonding. We anchored at Gili Lawa utara, and waking up to that sunrise—soft golden light hitting the ridge—rasanya seperti di painting. Later, we stopped by Manta Point, and the mantas were just gliding like they owned the ocean. Sangat surreal. Satu-satunya thing: WiFi cuma available di certain spots and agak inconsistent. Tapi to be fair, we were in Komodo—disconnecting itu bagian dari healing. Makanan? Kalau bisa, tambahin satu day trip ke Manjarite, I’d love to explore the caves more slowly.

Corporate Reset in Komodo’s Wild Embrace
We chartered Zulaika 02 Liveaboard for a leadership retreat, and it transformed our team dynamic. The yacht’s layout encourages conversation—whether over coffee on the foredeck or wine beneath the stars. Sailing into Long Beach at low tide, we walked across sandbars to a secluded bay, then returned to a barbecue of grilled mahi-mahi and coconut rice. Manta Point delivered one of the most awe-inspiring moments—floating above gentle giants in crystal water. The onboard facilitator helped us weave reflection into each day, making it more than just a getaway. The cabins are spacious, and the ensuite bathrooms are spa-grade. Only minor point: meeting space is limited if you need formal presentations. But that’s the point—this isn’t a boardroom. It’s a return to what matters. Zulaika 02 is leadership development, reimagined.

Diving Deep in Komodo’s Wild Corners
Our dive group of eight chartered the Zulaika 02 Liveaboard for a week focused on Komodo’s lesser-dived sites. Castle Rock delivered—sharks, turtles, and that sudden appearance of a manta at 28 meters. The yacht’s layout allowed us to debrief in the saloon with coffee and charts spread out, no rush. Cabins were compact but impeccably finished, with excellent ventilation. I appreciated the absence of forced activity; downtime between dives was ours. One morning, we anchored at Bidadari Beach and kayaked the cove quietly—no fanfare, just space. The only hiccup: one dive guide spoke quickly over the briefing mic, but otherwise, coordination was seamless. Zulaika 02 doesn’t shout luxury. It lets the sea do the talking.

Komodo Through a Calm Lens
My husband and I chose Zulaika 02 Liveaboard for our honeymoon, drawn by its low guest count and 2019 build. Sailing from Labuan Bajo, we first anchored near Padar Island—its jagged ridges glowing at sunrise. The cabin’s natural wood and linen tones felt calming, not staged. We snorkeled at Bidadari Beach, where turtles glided past coral gardens. The crew anticipated needs—like post-swim smoothies—without intrusion. One evening, we dined on deck as rain swept across the bay, the sound muffled by canvas. It was intimate, not theatrical. My only note: the Wi-Fi wasn’t usable, but we didn’t miss it. What stays is the quiet dignity of the yacht, and how it let Komodo speak for itself. We returned changed—slower, more aware.
Zulaika 02:

A Voyage of Quiet Wonder and Deep Luxury
Zulaika 02 Liveaboard offered the perfect blend of serenity and discovery for our babymoon. At nearly seven months pregnant, I needed comfort and calm—and this yacht delivered. The master suite’s king bed faced sliding doors that opened to the sea breeze, and the crew adjusted excursions to our pace. We floated at Manta Point, where gentle currents carried us past soaring mantas, then rested on the upper deck with fresh papaya and mint tea. Kalong Island at dusk was unforgettable—thousands of bats swirling like smoke against a violet sky. The chef prepared light, nourishing meals tailored to my needs. The only thing I’d mention? The tender ride to shore could be smoother with limited mobility. But the staff was attentive and helped every step. Zulaika 02 isn’t just a trip—it’s a memory etched in stillness and beauty.

Honeymoon Serenity on Komodo’s Edge
Choosing Zulaika 02 Liveaboard for our honeymoon was the best decision we made. Arriving straight from Bali, the transition into this world of silence, sea, and sky was transformative. Our suite had floor-to-ceiling windows that framed the endless blue, and the private outdoor space became our sanctuary each evening. We swam with manta rays at Manta Point—effortless, surreal—and later picnicked on Long Beach, where the crew laid out a chilled spread of tropical fruit and prosecco. The staff remembered our wine preferences by day two, and the chef prepared a surprise candlelit dinner on deck. It felt deeply personal. The only thing I’d note? The air conditioning in our cabin took a moment to cool in peak heat. But that’s a tiny trade for such raw, unfiltered beauty. Zulaika 02 isn’t just a boat—it’s a portal to something sacred.

A Thoughtful Komodo Voyage
I joined the Zulaika 02 Liveaboard as part of a women-led dive collective. Five of us, all experienced, wanted a trip that balanced challenge and comfort. Castle Rock tested our buoyancy with surge, but the guides were calm and precise. The yacht’s layout allowed for both group time and solitude—essential when diving daily. I spent mornings on the upper deck with coffee, watching Padar Island emerge from mist. The crew sourced local papaya and dragon fruit for breakfast—small touches that built trust. One evening, we anchored near Komodo Island and saw dragons from the dinghy at low tide. The only flaw: the solar-powered fridge cycled off at night, so drinks warmed slightly. But that’s a trade I’ll make for sustainability. Zulaika 02 feels like stewardship, not extraction.
