Saya join IJC Boat untuk photography expedition, khususnya marine life. The galley served up delicate flavors: tamarind braised beef, coconut rice, fresh mango every morning. The crew never over-served, never under-attended. Cabins are compact but smartly designed. The forward twin could use better blackout, but dawn views over Sebayur Island made up for it. One evening, anchored in a cove, we grilled fish we’d caught, drinking local beer as the sky turned indigo. No speeches. No agendas. Just the sea, and the rare comfort of old friendship.

Saya bawa tim kecil untuk brand retreat, fokusnya creative reset. IJC Boat ternyata punya sense of rhythm yang pas untuk proses itu. Tidak terlalu cepat, tidak terlalu lambat. Di Padar Island, kami hike pagi buta, dan turun untuk brunch di boat dengan fresh mango smoothie dan grilled banana. Moment seperti itu yang bikin ide muncul natural. Yang saya appreciate: mereka tidak push itinerary. Kalau kita mau stay longer di satu spot, mereka fleksibel. Di Manta Point, kami habiskan hampir 2 jam di air — captain tahu spot dengan arus minimal. Satu catatan: toilet di kabin 3 agak slow drain, tapi bukan masalah besar. Audio system di lounge juga agak outdated, tapi honestly, siapa butuh Spotify kalau bisa dengar suara ombak dan angin? IJC Boat mengingatkan saya bahwa luxury itu bukan tentang kemewahan, tapi tentang space — untuk berpikir, untuk bernapas, untuk melihat laut tanpa distraksi.

Overall, leadership team justru makin solid, dan itu value yang nggak ternilai. IJC Boat ngerti betul dinamika grup profesional — privasi cukup, space untuk kerja juga ada.

Malam di Pink Beach, mereka setup candlelight dinner di atas pasir dengan string light dari tenda kecil. Music playlist-nya soft jazz dan oldies Indonesia, perfect sekali. Snorkeling di Manta Point juga surprisingly emotional — lihat manta berputar pelan di bawah kayak simbol something eternal. IJC Boat ini bukan sekadar kapal mewah, tapi seperti floating sanctuary yang ngerti ritme pasangan yang ingin quality time. Kabin master suite-nya luas, dan bathtub-nya di luar area shower jadi bisa mandi sambil lihat laut. Cuma satu note: jadwal transit antar spot agak tight di hari ketiga, mungkin karena cuaca. Tapi overall, every moment terasa intentional, nggak rushed. We came for the views, stayed for the silence between us.
