中学と小学の子どもたちを連れてのmulti-generation family trip。Padar Islandの登頂は、子どもたちにとって初の本格的なtrekking。途中、息が上がる中でも「景色がきれい」と笑顔を見せてくれて、親として感動しました。Athira Phinisiのcrewは、子どもたちにも優しく、特別にジュースクーラーを用意してくれました。Taka Makassarのsnorkelingでは、家族で同じfishを指差して喜ぶ、シンプルな幸せを体感。船内は清潔で、cabinのベッドガードも安心。ただ、キッズ用のactivity menuがあると、さらに良かった。Wae Reboの訪問は少し長く感じたので、次回はもう少し自由時間が欲しい。

Athira Phinisiのitineraryで特に印象的だったのは、Pink Beachの訪問です。写真では伝わらない、あの繊細なピンクの砂。潮の引き具合によって見え方が変わるため、ガイドのタイミング判断が完璧でした。Taka Makassarでは夜のswimmingを体験。海がきらきらと発光するbioluminescenceに、思わず息をのみました。Standard Cabinでも十分な広さと静音性があり、快適に過ごせました。食事は毎食が驚きで、特にseafood tartareのpresentationはinstagram-worthy。ただ、朝食の選択肢がもう少し欲しかった。gluten-free対応ももう少し柔軟だと助かります。全体としては、自然とluxuryが融合したperfectなバランス。

一人旅でAthira Phinisiを選びました。普段の東京生活から離れて、本当に心がリセットできた。Gili Lawaでの昼下がり、デッキチェアで読書をしているだけでも、波の音と風だけで十分だった。船のデザインは、伝統的なphinisiの外観とmodern interiorの融合が絶妙。Standard Cabinでも十分な広さがあり、収納も考え抜かれている。食事はベジタリアン対応もしっかりしており、毎日新しいherbの使い方が印象的。ただ、バスタオルが毎日交換されるのは環境を考えると少しもったいないと感じた。小さな改善点だが、持参したエコタオルを洗濯に回してくれたのは好感が持てた。夜の星空は言葉にならない。一人で過ごす贅沢なtimeとして、また来年も予約済み。

先月、家族4人（子ども9歳と12歳）でAthira Phinisiに4日間乗船しました。最初は子どもたちが飽きないか心配でしたが、クルーの配慮に感心しました。特にGili Lawaでのシュノーケルは、息をのむほどクリアな水中世界。子どもたちは熱帯魚の群れに夢中になり、クルーが特別に用意してくれた子供用マスクも完璧でした。Master Suiteは広々としており、プライバシーが保たれていたのも評価ポイント。夕食は毎日異なるコンセプトで、地元のスパイスを使ったfusion cuisineが印象的。ただ、wifiは少し不安定で、遠隔勤務中の妻が少々ストレスを感じていました。次回はもう1日延長して、Pink Beachでの夕焼けをもっと味わいたい。全体的に、家族旅行としては理想的なbalance。船自体の木工も2018年造りとは思えないほど洗練されており、伝統とmodern comfortの融合が心地よい。

祖父母、両親、私たち夫婦と子ども2人のmulti-generation familyでAthira Phinisiを選んだのは正解でした。Padar Islandのハイキング後、船上でのrestが何よりのリワード。各cabinのプライバシーがしっかり確保されており、年配の両親も快適に過ごせたようです。Pink Beachでは家族全員でsnorkeling。色鮮やかなcoralと熱帯魚に子どもたちは大興奮。船内でのdiningは毎晩がgastronomyのようで、地元の香辛料を使ったmodern twistが印象的でした。ただ、ベビーベッドの設置に少し手間取ったのが唯一の課題。次回はWae Reboにも寄ってみたい。文化体験がもう少し加わると、より深いtripになるでしょう。
