Only slight friction was the Wi-Fi—functional for messages, not video. Not a true flaw, more a reminder we were properly off-grid. What stood out was the balance: structured enough for a dive group’s needs, fluid enough for spontaneous swims or a sundowner at Taka Makassar, where the sandbar shifts with the tide. Notre master suite, climatisée avec précision, offrait un lit king-size que l’on quittait à regret chaque matin, surtout après une nuit bercée par le clapotis entre Komodo et Nusa Kode. C’est justement à Nusa Kode que nous avons passé une après-midi inoubliable : snorkeling dans une eau translucide, puis déjeuner privé sur la plage déserte, servi directement par l’équipage. Nous avons aussi visité Pink Beach, où la couleur du sable, bien que subtile, gagne en intensité au coucher du soleil — une scène que j’ai capturée en drone shot, absolument époustouflante.
