Days unfolded without urgency: a quiet paddle at Nusa Kode, a sunrise hike on Gili Lawa, then floating in that impossible blue. One afternoon, we anchored near Kalong Island and watched the bat exodus at dusk—thousands pouring from the mangroves like smoke. The attention to privacy—especially at Taka Makassar, where we had the entire sandbar for ourselves—was priceless. Breakfast dengan local banana pancake dan coconut syrup—simple tapi memorable. We also visited Bidadari Beach, dan anak-anak dari group lain ikut bermain—tapi karena kapalnya hanya 5 cabin, crowd tetap manageable. Satu catatan: shower pressure di cabin bisa lebih kuat, tapi tidak mengganggu overall experience. Malam terakhir, kita duduk di bow, melihat bintang tanpa light pollution. Later, at Gili Lawa Darat, we hiked the ridge at sunrise, then swam in the current where the reef pulses with parrotfish and clams the size of palms. The cabin was understated but impeccable—teak finishes, linen that held its cool, and a shower with actual pressure, which I mention because so few yachts manage that. If there’s a quibble, it’s that the Wi-Fi existed in theory only; not a true complaint, more a note for those who insist on tethering. The kitchen, though—consistently brilliant. Seared tuna with tamarind glaze one night, then a Balinese lawar the next. You felt cared for, never performed for. That balance is rare.

Die Aufteilung der Cabins ist clever: unsere kids hatten die vordere suite, wir die master suite achtern, getrennt durch genug distance für Privatsphäre. Besonders Kalong Island hat uns beeindruckt – der sunset, wenn die Fledermäuse in Tausenden ausfliegen, war ein wahres Naturschauspiel. Auch Pink Beach war ein Highlight: wenig überlaufen, kristallklares Wasser, ideal für kurze snorkel stops mit der whole family. Die Crew war sensibel gegenüber unseren timing needs – kein Druck, ständig auf Achse zu sein. Stattdessen gab es space, um einfach nur zu sein. Das dining on deck unter Sternen mit gegrilltem Mahi-Mahi war pure indulgence. Einzig die Dauer des Itineraries fühlte sich etwas eng an – sechs Tage wären ideal gewesen statt vier, um tiefer in den Rhythmus der Inseln zu kommen. Aber das ist kein Mangel des Bootes, sondern Ausdruck dessen, wie sehr uns die Region gepackt hat. Die Qualität des Holzes, die ruhige Eleganz des Designs – hier merkt man, dass die Nara Sea Phinisi 2023 gebaut wurde. Kein Retro-Look, sondern moderner phinisi-lifestyle mit Substanz.

Pour mes 50 ans, j’ai choisi de fuir l’agitation de Bruges avec mon épouse — direction l’Indonésie et le Nara Sea Phinisi. Ce phinisi VIP, lancé en 2023, allie élégance sobre et confort discret, exactement ce que l’on espère d’un charter premium. Les espaces sont pensés pour la contemplation : le bow lounge, le pont arrière spacieux, et surtout cette master suite avec vue sur mer permanente. Nous avons ancré à Gili Lawa, où le snorkeling parmi les fusiliers et les tortues fut un moment de grâce. Le lendemain, direction Manta Point : nager avec les raies, c’était… comment dire ? Un vrai bucket list moment. Le staff, attentionné sans être intrusif, a orchestré chaque étape de l’itinerary avec précision. Le petit déjeuner en smoothie bowl sur le deck, le dîner aux chandelles sous les étoiles — tout respirait le bon goût. Seule réserve : le wifi, bien sûr limité (normal ici), mais j’aurais apprécié un signal un peu plus stable pour envoyer un drone shot à mes enfants. Ce n’est qu’un détail. Ce qui m’a marqué, c’est la qualité silencieuse du service, cette impression que rien n’est laissé au hasard. On sent que le capitaine et son équipe maîtrisent chaque courant, chaque ancrage. À 50 ans, on ne cherche plus le spectacle, mais l’authenticité bien cadrée. Le Nara Sea Phinisi l’a parfaitement compris.
