Onze master suite had voldoende privacy en licht, en de outdoor shower was een daily delight. Het itinerary bracht ons naar Sebayur Island, waar we in kristalhelder water zwommen zonder één ander schip in zicht. De stilte daar, alleen het geluid van de golven — pure balans. Daarna aankomen bij Pink Beach voelde als een reward: het zand is werkelijk roze, en de drone shot die de guide nam gaf ons een perspective die je vanaf het strand nooit zou begrijpen. We vlogen vanuit Bali en hadden slechts vier dagen, wat uiteindelijk net iets te kort voelde. Ik zou minstens vijf dagen nemen, misschien zelfs een extra nacht voorbij Taka Makassar, waar de onderwaterwereld nog ongerept is. L’itinéraire nous a emmenés à Taka Makassar au petit matin – l’eau translucide, presque irréelle – puis en fin d’après-midi à Crystal Rock, où nous avons fait une petite plongée au coucher du soleil.
