Die Behike Phinisi bot genau das – nicht die üblichen Hotspots im Pulk, sondern ruhige Ankerplätze wie Kalong Island, wo wir das kollektive Flugverhalten der Fledermäuse beobachteten, ohne andere Boote in Sicht. Die Crew arbeitet mit lokalen Guides, die nicht nur Englisch sprechen, sondern echtes Wissen vermitteln. Mein Standard Cabin war kompakt, aber mit hochwertigen Materialien – das Holzdekor erinnert an traditionelle phinisi-Bauweise, modern interpretiert. Das Frühstück war vielfältig, mit frischem Obst und hausgemachtem Joghurt. Lediglich die Dusche hatte etwas Druckverlust – selten, aber auffällig nach einem langen Schnorchel-Tag. Bei Kanawa Island hatten wir das Riff fast für uns allein. Kein Massenbetrieb, sondern ein feeling of discovery. Pour mes 40 ans, j’ai organisé un *friends getaway* avec six d’anciens camarades de Sciences Po — tous exigeants, habitués aux bons hôtels et aux *drone shots* Instagram. Le Behike Phinisi a non seulement tenu ses promesses, mais a dépassé nos attentes. En svært stilfull uke ombord

Vi lå i Bidadari Beach to netter, og det var der jeg virkelig slapp av. Badetemperaturen var bare perfekt, og jeg lot meg forføre til å ta en sen kveldssvømmetur under stjernene. Drone shot fra kapteinen neste dag viste hele lagunen som et smaragd i havet – helt surrealistisk. Taka Makassar var mer vindstilla, men snorkringen der var helt på et annet nivå; man ser nesten alt: manta, skjell, små nakentusk. Eneste lille svakheten var at wifi var litt spotty, men egentlig – hvem trenger det når utsikten er slik? Reisen ble en del av min selvforståelse, nesten terapeutisk.
