We joined Alfatran Phinisi Lombok for a four-day exploration of Komodo’s quieter side—specifically Batu Bolong and the northern reaches of Padar. Cabins are well-insulated, though one had a slight dampness near the porthole after heavy rain. The galley served excellent rendang and fresh mango lassis—simple, but executed with care.
