Elora Phinisiを選んだのは、luxuryとダイビングの両立が可能と聞いたから。結果、期待をはるかに超えた。Manta Pointでのエントリーはスムーズで、船の専属ダイブマスターがガイドしてくれた。Castle Rockの地形も素晴らしく、水流にのってのドリフトダイブはまさにアドレナリン・ラッシュ。船上のダイニングでは毎晩、シェフオリジナルのコースが登場。特に和×イタリアンのfusion dinnerはmemorable。ただ、ダイビングギアのラックがやや狭く、プロのギアを持つ者には少し不便。それでも、Elora Phinisiのクオリティは抜群。6つのキャビンすべてがスイートクラスで、静けさを保てたのが最大のポイント。

Een werkelijk perfecte luxe escape op Elora Phinisi
Al sinds onze eerste blik op het dek wist ik: deze Elora Phinisi is geen gewoon phinisi. De combinatie van authentieke houtconstructie en ultramoderne designelementen voelt zo… effortless elegant. Onze master suite had meer ruimte dan sommige hotelkamers in Bali, met een rainfall shower die je letterlijk doet ontspannen tot in je ziel. We hadden een 4-day itinerary geboekt als honeymoon – en wat een keuze! Bij Manta Point duikten we samen onder, omringd door majestueuze rogges die geluidloos door het water gleden. De dive master had perfecte timing: net toen de zon door het water brak, kwam er een manta recht onder me door – ik heb het geluk nog nooit zo dichtbij gevoeld. Later op Bidadari Beach aten we een private beach dinner, met het geluid van golven en alleen wij twee. Het crewteam was attent zonder opdringerig te zijn – een delicate balans die maar weinig luxe vaartuigen behalen. Kleine noot: de wifi is, zoals verwacht, beperkt. Maar eerlijk? Dat maakt deel uit van de charm. Geen afleiding, alleen pure presence. De drone shot die de fotograaf nam tijdens onze zonsondergang op Castle Rock? Pure magic. Elora Phinisi is meer dan een boot. Het is een gevoel – van vrijheid, intimiteit, en perfect comfort.

Komodo Island에서의 왕도마 등대 트래킹과 Rinca Island에서의 야생 코모도 감상은 약간 무더웠지만, 전문 가이드의 해설이 풍부해서 지루할 틈이 없었어요. 개인적으로는 Taka Makassar의 수영 체험이 압권이었고, 해질 무렵의 open deck 와인 세션은 진짜 'luxury' 그 자체. 스태프들이 너무 익숙해지는 걸 방지하기 위해 일부러 거리감을 두는 듯한 느낌이 있었지만, 그게 오히려 프라이버시를 지켜줘서 좋았어요. Back onboard, chilled towels and fresh pineapple awaited. The only suggestion? A slightly larger dive tender for groups over six. But that’s logistics—what stays with me is the magic. One morning, after a predawn dive at Komodo Island, we surfaced to find Elora haloed in mist, waiting like a promise. Luxury isn’t just in the linens—it’s in moments like that.
