Al sinds onze eerste blik op het dek wist ik: deze Elora Phinisi is geen gewoon phinisi. De combinatie van authentieke houtconstructie en ultramoderne designelementen voelt zo… effortless elegant. Onze master suite had meer ruimte dan sommige hotelkamers in Bali, met een rainfall shower die je letterlijk doet ontspannen tot in je ziel. We hadden een 4-day itinerary geboekt als honeymoon – en wat een keuze! Bij Manta Point duikten we samen onder, omringd door majestueuze rogges die geluidloos door het water gleden. De dive master had perfecte timing: net toen de zon door het water brak, kwam er een manta recht onder me door – ik heb het geluk nog nooit zo dichtbij gevoeld. Later op Bidadari Beach aten we een private beach dinner, met het geluid van golven en alleen wij twee. Het crewteam was attent zonder opdringerig te zijn – een delicate balans die maar weinig luxe vaartuigen behalen. Kleine noot: de wifi is, zoals verwacht, beperkt. Maar eerlijk? Dat maakt deel uit van de charm. Geen afleiding, alleen pure presence. De drone shot die de fotograaf nam tijdens onze zonsondergang op Castle Rock? Pure magic. Elora Phinisi is meer dan een boot. Het is een gevoel – van vrijheid, intimiteit, en perfect comfort.

Unser Trip nach Rinca Island und Manta Point war Teil eines kleinen Corporate Retreats – sechs Personen, alle begeistert. Die Cabins sind geräumig, das Design zeitlos, und der Soundsystem-Bass im Loungebereich? Einfach top. Die Crew ist professionell, aber nie aufdringlich – genau das, was man bei einem Business-Trip mit leichten Freizeit-Elementen braucht. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: das WLAN hält den Namen „high-speed“ nur bedingt – aber hey, wir waren ja in der Natur. Was bleibt, ist das Gefühl von echtem Escape. Die Lage von Taka Makassar am Abend – türkisfarbenes Wasser, kein Lärm – das ist pure Magie. Die Elora Phinisi macht aus einem normalen Segeltörn ein echtes Experience. Foi com meu dive group que descobrimos o Elora Phinisi — e posso dizer: nunca fizemos um diving itinerary tão bem planejado. A tripulação conhece cada correnteza, cada recife escondido. Batu Bolong foi intenso, com tubarões-cinzentos e cardumes densos, e Castle Rock? Uma wall dive de tirar o fôlego. O barco tem um deck técnico perfeito para gear prep, com rinse tanks e área seca coberta. As cabines são espaçosas, e o salão interno é ideal para debriefs com drinks gelados. Como plus: o jacuzzi no flybridge virou nosso happy hour favorito, especialmente depois de mergulhos longos. Paramos também em Kalong Island, onde assistimos ao espetáculo das morcegas gigantes ao crepúsculo — inesquecível. Única observação: o tempo de surface interval poderia ser um pouco mais longo para mergulhadores recreativos. Mas isso não tira o brilho do overall experience. Luxo, performance e natureza. Recomendo 100%.

Unsere Hochzeitsreise führte uns zur Elora Phinisi – ein exklusiver Phinisi mit einer Präsenz, die ruhig, aber selbstbewusst ist. Mit 33,89 Metern fühlt sich das Schiff nie überdimensioniert an, sondern bewahrt eine Intimität, die für ein Paar perfekt war. Wir hatten die Master Suite auf Oberdeck, mit direktem Meerblick und einem extra großen King-Size-Bett – der Komfort war first class, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Die Crew antizipierte Wünsche, ohne zu aufdringlich zu sein; morgens kam Kaffee wie von Geisterhand, genau wenn wir an Deck trafen. Unser itinerary führte uns nach Kanawa Island, wo wir gemeinsam schnorchelten und die farbenfrohen Korallengärten genossen – ein echter Highlight. Später ankerten wir bei Bidadari Beach, wo wir im warmen Sand tanzten, als wäre es ein privater Filmset. Die Gaumenfreuden an Bord waren durchdacht: frischer Ceviche am Nachmittag, gegrillter Lobster am Abend – alles mit lokalem Touch, aber internationaler Präzision. Einzig der WiFi-Empfang war etwas unzuverlässig – aber ehrlich, wer braucht schon Social Media, wenn der Sunset über Castle Rock wie ein Naturschauspiel inszeniert ist?
