We hadden een mix van stilte en avontuur nodig voor onze wellness retreat, en dit was het ultimate reset. De yoga sessies op het voordek bij zonsopgang, gevolgd door een light breakfast met lokale papaja – simpel, maar elevated. We maakten een intensievere hike op Padar Island, waar de uitzichten je adem benemen. Onze private guide nam ons mee naar een hidden viewpoint, afgezien van de drukte. Een must voor wie wat off-radar wil. Later die dag een koele dip in het turquoise bij Batu Bolong – de snorkel spots zijn ongelooflijk, vooral met de drone shot die de kapitein voor ons maakte. Als Familie suchten wir einen Mix aus Sicherheit, Komfort und echtem Naturerlebnis, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die breite Badeplattform war ein Hit, besonders nach unserem Schnorchelausflug zu Manta Point, wo die Kleinen zum ersten Mal Rochen aus nächster Nähe sahen. Die Crew hatte Geduld mit unseren Fragen und organisierte sogar eine kleine Underwater Discovery Session für die kids. Unser Highlight: Padar Island bei Sonnenaufgang. Der Trekking-Pfad war fordernd, aber der Ausblick? Absolute perfection. Die Kabinen sind geräumig, und die Möglichkeit, ein interconnecting setup zu nutzen, war goldwert. Einzig der Speiseplan hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können – nach Tag drei sah das Dessert etwas repetitiv aus.
