Von Lombok nach Komodo: Entdecken Sie Padar, Pink Beach, Rinca und Manta Point – Highlights eines unvergesslichen Abenteuers.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Our dive group — seven of us dari Jakarta dan Bali — booked Mega By Zada for Komodo’s advanced sites. We focused on Batu Bolong and sekitar Rinca Island, where currents bisa challenging tapi marine life sangat rewarding. Dive master-nya experienced, they know exactly when to time the entries. One small note: lebih banyak shade di deck saat siang akan membantu, tapi overall, this is a serious boat for serious divers. The balance antara technical readiness dan comfort is rare.

As someone dari Maluku, laut bukan hal baru, tapi pengalaman di Mega By Zada beda. Ini bukan sekadar boat trip, tapi journey. We anchored di Taka Makassar saat moonrise, airnya datar seperti kaca, reflection-nya seperti dua dunia bertemu. The simplicity of that moment — no music, no talk, just presence — sangat powerful. Overall, this trip felt like a deep breath I didn’t know I needed. Sometimes, the best luxury is silence.

A comida? Exatamente o que o time precisava.

As a serious diver, I’m picky about boats, but Mega By Zada exceeded expectations. The dive deck is well-organized, and they have full gear support —O2 kit, camera charging station, the works. Diving at Rinca Island was wild; saw sharks, turtles, current action was strong but safe. Captain knows the spots like his backyard. Only feedback: lebih banyak dive sites in one day would be great, maybe optimize transit time. But honestly, the comfort on board? Next level. Kasur empuk, linen high-thread count, and the chef cooked fresh lobster every other day. This is what luxury liveaboard should feel like.

As an experienced diver, I appreciate boats that prioritize dive logistics. Mega By Zada has a dedicated dive master who briefs thoroughly —safety first, always. We dived at Rinca’s strong current site and saw a manta —moment I’ll never forget. Boat is small enough to access hidden spots, yet equipped with high-end gear. Nitrox available, tanks topped promptly. Only critique: dive deck bisa lebih luas, tapi manageable. Komodo Island trek was well-organized, with hydration stops. Post-dive cocktails on deck? Perfect way to unwind. This yacht gets diving right.
