A Thoughtful Passage
Marking our anniversary aboard the Arfisyana Indah Phinisi was a decision rooted in a desire for depth. The boat, at 29 metres, is large enough to feel stable, small enough to remain personal. We stayed in the Master Suite, which featured a hand-carved headboard and a private nook for morning coffee. One morning, we anchored near Bidadari Beach and took the tender ashore. The sand was powder-soft, and the water so clear we could see stingrays gliding beneath. We spent hours reading under a parasol, the crew quietly replenishing water and fruit. A highlight was snorkelling off Sebayur Island, where the current brought dense schools of fusiliers and a turtle that circled us curiously. The chef accommodated my wife’s gluten sensitivity without compromising flavour—grilled snapper with a tamarind reduction was exceptional. Evenings were spent on the upper deck, watching the sky deepen. The staff offered a digestif of spiced arak, smooth and warming. One note: the tender’s engine can be loud on startup. But that fades quickly. The real luxury was in the details: chilled towels after hikes, coffee ready at dawn, binoculars always available. We visited Komodo Island and saw dragons near the trail—ancient, deliberate, indifferent. The boat handled the straits with quiet confidence. This wasn’t curated perfection. It was lived elegance.

Arfisyana Indah Phinisiのitineraryで特に印象的だったのはWae Rebo訪問。村人と直接対話できる時間があり、彼らの生活哲学に深く感銘。手織りの布を購入したが、船内で後日、専用の保存方法をアドバイスしてくれた。Long Beachでは、クルーが家族のためにビーチゲームを用意してくれ、子供たちが大喜び。Standard Cabinでも充分な快適さ。ただ、船内での日本語対応スタッフが1名だけだったのが、やや不安要素。でも、全体のホスピタリティがそれを補って余りある。夜の星空観察会では、天文学の知識があるクルーが星座を解説してくれて感動。

O Arfisyana Indah Phinisi une tradição náutica e conforto moderno com elegância. O itinerário por Wae Rebo e Padar Island foi culturalmente enriquecedor. Em Wae Rebo, caminhamos com um guia local que explicou os rituais da tribo, algo que poucos barcos oferecem. O master suite tem um toque artesanal — as portas de madeira entalhada, o tecido dos lençóis, tudo conta uma história. O wifi é limitado, mas compreensível dada a localização. A equipe trouxe um violão à noite e cantou músicas tradicionais — um momento autêntico que não parece encenado. O café da manhã com frutas locais e pão de queijo foi uma surpresa bem-vinda. A única sugestão: mais tempo em Wae Rebo, talvez uma pernoite, para mergulhar na cultura. Mas entendo as restrições logísticas. Um barco com alma, não só com luxo.

Komodo, version raffinée
Pour mes 50 ans, j’ai voulu quelque chose de mémorable mais sobre – pas de fête bruyante, juste de la beauté pure. L’Arfisyana Indah Phinisi a été le cadre idéal. Avec mon épouse et deux couples d’amis, nous avons exploré Loh Liang et Gili Lawa avec un guide passionnant. Le moment fort ? Le coucher de soleil à Bidadari Beach, avec un verre de champagne rosé servi en silence. Le bateau, bien que de 29 mètres, se manœuvre avec une grâce impressionnante. La literie en cabine était parfaite, et la douche extérieure un vrai luxe. Le seul point perfectible : la connexion Wi-Fi, très intermittente. Mais cela nous a obligés à parler… ce qui n’est pas plus mal. Un vrai luxury experience, sans prétention.
Premier phinisi, première réussite
À 28 ans, je n’avais jamais fait de croisière. L’Arfisyana Indah Phinisi a été une introduction parfaite. Le bateau, bien que VIP class, garde une âme d’aventure — on sent qu’il navigue vraiment, pas qu’il est amarré pour le show. Notre itinerary a inclus Komodo Island (rencontre avec deux dragons curieux) et un coucher de soleil à couper le souffle sur Bidadari Beach. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la convivialité du dîner partagé : huit passagers seulement, ce qui crée une vraie ambiance. Le petit déjeuner avec avocat smash et œufs bénédicte était d’un niveau hôtel de luxe. Peut-être que l’air conditionné dans ma cabine a faibli une nuit, mais l’équipe a réglé cela en 20 minutes. Une expérience immersive, loin des tourist traps.

كنت أخطط لرحلة babymoon منذ شهور، واخترت Arfisyana Indah Phinisi بعد قراءة تقييمات مفصّلة. الشيء الذي أثار إعجابي هو التصميم الداخلي — خشب الساج الطبيعي، أثاث منسوج يدويًا، وديكور يعكس التقاليد البحرية الإندونيسية دون مبالغة. توقفنا في Pink Beach، حيث سبحت ببطء وسط الأسماك الملونة. الطاقم قدّموا لي عصير جوز الهند البارد على الشاطئ، مع بطانية من القطن العضوي. Master Suite كانت فسيحة، مع حمام مفتوح جزئيًا للسماء — تجربة فاخرة بشكل خاص تحت النجوم. وحدها السرعة البطيئة أحيانًا بين الجزر كانت تُشعرك بالانقطاع، لكنها في النهاية جزء من روح الرحلة. أحببت فكرة أن كل شيء يتم ببطء، بدون تسرع. عدنا إلى الدوحة وأنا أشعر أن الجنين قد استفاد من هذا الهدوء كما استفدت أنا.

A Floating Archive of Light and Stone
I brought six lenses and returned with 1,200 keepers. The Arfisyana Indah Phinisi proved an ideal platform for a photography expedition. Its position at Padar Island at dawn allowed us to capture the tri-bay gradient in soft, golden light—no other boat in sight. At Batu Bolong, the skipper maneuvered to keep the sun behind us, maximizing contrast on the reef’s edge. The top deck doubled as a quiet editing space—stable enough for my MacBook, and they provided a 220V outlet in the cabin. Meals were served family-style, which fostered conversation with fellow guests, all of whom were thoughtful and low-key. The only limitation? Limited charging ports in the Standard Cabin. A small thing, easily managed. What stayed with me was the silence between shots—just the creak of teak and the wind in the sails.

Un week-end loin de tout
Entre deux réunions à Singapour, j’ai sauté sur l’occasion de faire un 4-day trip à Komodo. L’Arfisyana Indah Phinisi m’a immédiatement apaisé – l’ambiance est calme, presque méditative. Le départ depuis Labuan Bajo vers Gili Lawa, avec la brise dans les voiles, m’a fait oublier le jetlag. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le moment à Sebayur Island, où j’ai pu nager entre les requins de récif sans stress. La Standard Cabin est petite mais parfaitement agencée – j’aime ce genre d’élégance minimaliste. Le dîner à bord, avec un risotto aux fruits de mer et un Pinot noir de Nouvelle-Zélande, était digne d’un restaurant étoilé. Peut-être un peu trop de musique lounge en fond ? Mais c’est un détail. Un vrai reset mental.
