Für meine wellness retreat Woche suchte ich etwas Abgeschiedenes – die Budi Utama Phinisi bot genau das. Morgens Yoga auf dem Sonnendeck, während wir vor Anker lagen bei Kanawa Island, das Wasser so klar, dass man den Meeresboden wie auf einem high-res Bild sehen konnte. Die Atemmeditationen im Schatten der Segel waren besonders tief. Die Standard Cabin ist geräumiger, als der Name vermuten lässt – echtes teakholz, sanftes indirektes Licht. Nur die Dusche hatte manchmal Druckschwankungen, ein kleiner Schönheitsfehler. Abends gab es warme Kräutertees mit lokalen Zutaten, und die Massage auf der privaten Plattform war pure Entspannung. Padar Island besuchten wir bei Sonnenaufgang – der Aufstieg lohnt sich, aber ohne festes Schuhwerk nicht zu empfehlen. Die Aussicht ist ein echter highlight.
