Le Derya Liveaboard m’a offert une version intime de Komodo, loin des groupes de masse. Voyageant seule pour une retraite personnelle, j’ai été impressionnée par la qualité de l’accompagnement. Le guide naturaliste parle un anglais parfait, mais aussi un indonésien fluide, ce qui enrichit chaque escale. À Loh Liang, il nous a montré des jeunes dragons dans un secteur peu fréquenté — un moment rare. Le bateau, construit en 2018, allie tradition et modernité : ventilation efficace, eau chaude constante, mais aussi voiles en coton qui claquent au vent. Ma cabine, Standard Cabin, était simple mais d’une propreté irréprochable. J’ai adoré le petit déjeuner indonésien — nasi uduk servi avec une lime fraîche. Le seul regret : pas de possibilité de faire du paddle à Wainilu, faute d’équipement. Mais cela n’a pas entaché l’essence du voyage : une immersion douce, presque contemplative, dans un monde préservé.

احتفلت بزواجي على متن Derya Liveaboard، وكان اختياراً حكيماً. الـMaster Suite كان فسيحاً، مع حمام مفتوح جزئياً يطل على البحر. بدأ الإيتيتيراري من Batu Bolong حيث سبحنا معاً لأول مرة في المياه الاستوائية، ثم انتقلنا إلى Gili Lawa حيث صعدنا للقمة وشاهدنا الغروب كزوجين جديدين. في الليل، قدّموا لنا عشاء رومانسي مع شموع ونبيذ مختار بعناية. الـdrone shot الذي سجّل لحظة الغروب كان هدية رائعة. الطاقم كان متواجداً دون تدخل، واحترموا خصوصيتنا طوال الوقت. أتمنى لو أن القارب يوفر خدمة بث مباشر للصور، لكنهم أعطوني ملفاً كاملاً في النهاية. Derya قدّم تجربة شخصية، حميمة، وفاخرة دون مبالغة.

En tant que photographe naturaliste, j’ai besoin de flexibilité. Le Derya Liveaboard a parfaitement compris cela. Lors de notre expedition photo, l’équipage a ajusté l’itinéraire pour nous offrir un golden hour optimal à Pink Beach, puis à Crystal Rock. Le roof deck, spacieux, devenait mon studio mobile chaque matin. J’ai pu charger mes batteries via les prises USB-C dans le Master Suite — un détail technique qui fait la différence. Les pauses entre les sessions étaient idéales pour développer une approche contemplative. Le seul regret : une courte durée de 4 jours. J’aurais aimé un jour supplémentaire à Castle Rock pour capturer les requins gris en mouvement lent. Mais la qualité de l’image, combinée à la discrétion du service, fait de ce voyage un must pour les artistes visuels.
