Saya dan suami celebrate anniversary ke-10 dengan private charter di Dream Ocean Phinisi. Kapalnya tidak terlalu besar, tapi layout-nya sangat efficient — seperti floating boutique villa. Pelayanan crew sangat discreet tapi attentive; they anticipated our coffee preference by day two. Itinerary ke Taka Makassar dan Komodo Island sangat well-paced. Di Komodo, ranger-nya knowledgeable banget soal dragon behavior. We saw one male fighting for territory — such a raw moment in nature. Malam terakhir, crew set up dinner di atas deck dengan string lights dan personal playlist dari Spotify kami. So thoughtful. Makanan? Fusion Indonesian-Western yang balanced — grilled mahi-mahi dengan sambal matah itu genius. Cuma wish there was a small jacuzzi option, tapi given the boat size, it’s understandable. Overall, the intimacy of this trip was exactly what we needed.

Dream Ocean Phinisi wybrałam dla friends getaway z czterema koleżankami – potrzebowałyśmy odłączyć się od digital overload. I rzeczywiście – po pierwszym dniu wyłączyłam telefon. Itinerary był bardzo dobrze zbalansowany: poranek na Komodo Island z rangerem, południe na plaży w Batu Bolong, wieczór z stargazingiem na forward deck. Kabina, którą miałam – Standard Cabin – nie jest przesadnie luksusowa, ale bardzo schludna, z dobrej jakości linen i cichym AC. Uwielbiałam, że można prosić o custom breakfast – ja wybrałam chia pudding z mangoldem i cold brew. Kuchnia była zaskakująco dobra, biorąc pod uwagę lokalizację. Drone shot z lotu nad Padar był stunning – crew był otwarty na kolaborację. Jedyne, co bym zmieniła? Więcej cienistych stref na środkowym pokładzie – słońce było mocne. Ale to przecież Komodo. Dream Ocean Phinisi nie krzyczy luksusem – on go po prostu ma.

Dream Ocean Phinisi var en avvägd kombination av stil och stillhet. Med min man och vår bebis valde vi denna babymoon-tur för att undvika stress – och det var perfekt. Vårt Master Suite hade lagom avskildhet, och kabinen andas en minimalistisk elegans som inte känns påtvingad. Våra dagar strukturerades kring Wainilu och Kalong Island, där vi såg fladdermönskoloni vid skymningen – en magisk drone shot, som vår guide kallade det. Besättningen var diskret men alltid tillgänglig, och måltiderna var lagom rymliga: mycket fisk från regionen, mycket citronmeliss, mycket tystnad vid bordet. Lite synd att wifi var lite spotty, men kanske just det vi behövde. Det enda jag önskade var en extra halvdag i Manjarite – stranden är så otroligt ren, nästan metafysisk. Den här typen av reseupplevelse pratar man inte högt om. Man minns den tyst.

En Loh Liang, los chicos estuvieron fascinados con los komodos, y el guía les dio una charla interactiva con traducción sencilla. El espacio a bordo es ideal para familias: las áreas comunes son amplias, y el equipo incluyó actividades lúdicas, como mapas de navegación personalizados para los niños. Nuestra cabina familiar conectaba dos Standard Cabins, lo que fue muy practical. Hubo un pequeño issue con el aire acondicionado en una noche cálida, pero lo solucionaron en minutos. Lo que más valoramos fue el menú infantil creativo —sin perder el sabor gourmet del resto de las comidas—. Long Beach fue el cierre perfecto: arena blanca, aguas tranquilas y un picnic montado por el staff con frutas tropicales cortadas en formas divertidas. Un viaje equilibrado entre aventura y relaxation.

Avec mes deux adolescents, je redoutais un voyage ennuyeux. Mais le Dream Ocean Phinisi a tout changé. Le bateau offre assez d’espaces — intérieur, pont supérieur, zone de bain — pour que chacun trouve son coin. Les jeunes ont adoré le kayak et le stand-up paddle offerts à Long Beach. À Manjarite, ils ont nagé avec des tortues pendant que nous, parents, profitions d’un massage en bord de plage. Le staff a même organisé un concours de photo drone — mon fils a gagné ! L’itinéraire était bien rythmé : ni trop dense, ni trop lent. Komodo Island fut impressionnante, surtout la vue depuis le sommet. Petits bémols : la climatisation un peu bruyante la nuit dans la Standard Cabin, et un repas légèrement salé. Mais l’attention générale compense amplement.

En solo traveler, j’ai choisi le Dream Ocean Phinisi pour sa réputation de calme et d’intimité. J’avais besoin de me retrouver. Le bateau, bien que partagé avec d’autres guests, donne l’impression d’un charter privé. Mon moment préféré ? Une matinée entière passée à lire sur le pont, ancrés près de Nusa Kode. Le silence, seulement brisé par le clapotis. L’après-midi, snorkeling à Manta Point — j’ai vu plus de 15 raies. L’équipage est attentionné sans être envahissant. J’aurais aimé un peu plus de flexibilité dans les heures des repas, mais le dîner tardif était possible sur demande. Le master suite, quoique splendide, n’a pas de prise USB près du lit — détail pour certains, mais essentiel pour moi. Malgré cela, l’experience reste exceptionnelle.

Ma cabine, bien que Standard, offrait une vue imprenable sur la mer. Chaque matin, je méditais sur le pont, bercée par le roulis. L’itinéraire a inclus deux passages à Manta Point — j’y ai vu des raies danser comme dans un rêve. À Bidadari Beach, j’ai lu un roman entier sous un parasol. Le soir, dîner léger servi en silence parfait. J’aurais aimé un peu plus d’activités yoga ou stretching, mais j’ai improvisé. Ce voyage m’a reconnectée à l’essentiel. Pas besoin de mots. Juste l’horizon, le sel, et le souffle du vent.

Ik reis vaak alleen en waardeer momenten van echte disconnectie. De Dream Ocean Phinisi bood precies dat. Aan boord was het rustgevend, bijna meditatief. De Master Suite is sober maar smaakvol – geen overdaad, maar alles wat je nodig hebt. Ons itinerarium bracht ons naar Wae Rebo en Bidadari Beach. Wae Rebo was een diepe culturele ervaring: de wandeling naar het dorp, de stilte, de eenvoud. Daarna de kustlijn van Bidadari, scherp afgetekend tegen het turquoise water – een perfecte drone shot. De crew kookte simpele, maar uitstekende gerechten: vis met kruiden uit de tuin, rijst, en lokale groenten. Geen menukaart, gewoon wat vers is. Wifi is vrijwel onbestaand, maar dat was precies wat ik zocht. De enige opmerking: de zitzakken op het voordek zijn comfortabel, maar zouden nieuw kunnen. Al met al een reis die me heeft hersteld, zowel fysiek als mentaal.

Als lid van een kleine dive group (6 personen) zocht ik een phinisi die service en techniek combineert. De Dream Ocean Phinisi deed dat briljant. De duikplatform is ruim en goed uitgerust – zelfs met alle tanks en gear voelde het nooit druk. We duikten bij Manta Point en Long Beach, beide met uitstekend zicht. De stroming bij Manta was sterk, maar de captain wist precies waar hij moest ankeren. De Master Suite had een eigen douchekamer, wat fijn is na een dag vol duiken. ’s Avonds werden er soms kleine borrels geserveerd op het achterdek – de crew weet hoe je in een relaxed mode blijft. Wifi is vrij basic, maar dat verwacht je niet op zee. Wat ik waardeerde: de dive masters kenden elk rif alsof het hun eigen tuin was. Ze lieten ons mantas, wobbegong en zelfs een zeepaardje zien. De enige wens? Misschien een extra dag in het noorden, dichter bij Wae Rebo – de cultuur daar is uniek.
