ラルニア・フィニシでの4日間は、まさにプライベートなイタリネリのようなものだった。夫婦で訪れたのはタカ・マカサルとバトゥ・ボロン。特にタカ・マカサルの夕暮れ、砂州が少しずつ姿を現す瞬間は、誰とも共有したくないほど静謐だった。キャビンはすべてデラックス仕様で、私たちのマスタースイートはやや船尾寄り、波音が心地よくて熟睡できた。朝食は毎日オーダー形式で、エッグベネディクトも完璧。ただ一点、Wi-Fiは期待しない方がいい。接続は稀で、それが逆に“離脱感”を高めたが、もう半日延長して欲しかった。ラルニア・フィニシのスタッフは控えめながらも、必要なタイミングで完璧なサービスを提供。例えば、パダール島への上陸前、サブマリンの説明を丁寧にしてくれたガイドは現地出身で、生態系についての知識が深かった。小さな子どもは乗せていないが、ファミリー向けのアレンジも可能とのことで、次は妹夫婦を誘ってのリピを考えている。
