För min 40-årsresa ville jag något annat – inget festligt, snarare en reset. Blackbeard Phinisi blev det naturliga valet efter en langsam search. Båten är ny (byggd 2024), men har en själ – inte klinisk. Jag bodde i Master Suite, med öppen balkong mot havet. Vårt wellness retreat inkluderade morgonyoga på akterdäck, meditation i båten vid Manjarite, och ayurvediska behandlingar i skuggan av Wainilu. Det var stillheten som tog över – inte ens drone shot från kaptenen störde. Men jag måste erkänna: jag önskade mer aktivitet i programmet, kanske en guided hike eller kulturstop. Annars var allt i perfect balans – maten vegetarisk men smakrik, med mycket local coconut och turmeric. Crew var tystlåtna på ett vackert sätt, aldrig påträngande. En kväll seglade vi förbi Kalong Island vid solnedgången – ingen prat, bara vind och fladdermöss. Jag åkte hem med färre tankar, mer rum. Det är den bästa formen av lyx.

Sengaja cari trip yang combine wellness dan nature, dan Blackbeard Phinisi deliver. Mereka ada treatment menu dengan therapist onboard — aku coba 60-minute Balinese massage, pakai essential oil dari Flores, very authentic. Itinerary ke Wainilu dan Taka Makassar sangat cocok untuk slow travel. Di Wainilu, kita kayak di private resort, crew setup floating yoga session pagi hari, meski agak goyang tapi fun. Taka Makassar itu surreal, pasirnya seperti crushed pearl, dan airnya two shades of blue. Snorkeling di Crystal Rock juga included, dan guide-nya sangat patient. Kabinku luas, king bed-nya seperti cloud. Cuma, spa treatment slot-nya terbatas, harus book dari awal. Tapi worth it. Makanan mostly organic, banyak pilihan detox juice. WiFi tidak ada di kabin, tapi aku malah enjoy being offline. Hanya pengin lebih banyak waktu di Kalong Island, baru sebentar. Tapi overall, ini healing journey yang sangat dibutuhkan.

Có điều wifi hơi yếu – không thành vấn đề vì tôi mang theo offline maps và chỉ dùng drone shot để lưu lại vài khoảnh khắc từ Gili Lawa. Itinerary được thiết kế hợp lý, không quá dồn dập, phù hợp với travel pace của người cần downtime. Tôi chỉ ước có thêm một ngày để dừng ở Wainilu – nơi mà ai cũng bảo là hidden gem. Vi valgte Blackbeard Phinisi for vår 10-års anniversary, og det var en subtil, men dypt velsortert opplevelse. Som par fra Fredrikstad som verdsetter stil over flashy, var vi straks trygge om bord. Master Suite var plassert perfekt akterut – morgenlys over Padar Island gjennom panoramavinduene var nesten for vakkelig. Turen gikk via Wae Rebo, hvor vi tok en tidlig landing for å se landsbyen i tåke. Drone shot fra crewet viste helheten – sårt vakert. Crewet hadde lagt til rette med en privat middag på dekk etterpå, noe som gjorde dagen ekstra personlig. Det eneste som var litt under par var wifi – forventet meg ikke mer enn basic connectivity, men det var nesten helt ute. Men, det tvang oss til å være mer til stede, så kanskje det var en velsignelse i forkledning. Itineraryet var veldig velprioritert – vi fikk både dypvannssnorkling ved Gili Lawa og stillhet på Sebayur Island. Det var ikke bare en båttur, men en form for slow travel med klasse. Kommer tilbake – kanskje med barna neste gang, selv om vi savnet ett døgn. Fem dager hadde vært perfekt.
