Cinq amies d’enfance réunies après dix ans — l’enjeu était émotionnel. L’Andalusia Phinisi a été le cadre idéal. Le Master Suite, que j’ai occupé, offrait un lit king-size avec oreillers moelleux, un détail que j’ai apprécié après des années de matelas d’hôtel. L’escale à Pink Beach fut un choc visuel : l’eau rose, les coraux, le silence. Nous avons nagé jusqu’à épuisement. À Wainilu, une randonnée légère nous a menées à un point de vue sur la vallée — un panorama digne d’un National Geographic. Le personnel a su être présent sans être envahissant. We startten bij Loh Liang, waar we komodo’s observeerden, daarna naar Padar Island voor een sunset hike — de crew had thermosflessen met warme chocolademelk bij. Ze regelden ook een snorkel sessie bij Gili Lawa waar de jongste zelf een zee-olifantje zag. Eén opmerking: het geluid van de generator s’avonds was hoorbaar in de achtercabines. Maar over het geheel? Een smooth, well-paced experience. De kok kookte zelfs vegan opties voor onze oudste, zonder extra charge. Dat noem ik service.

В день на Wainilu мы сняли short video с drone — получилось как из National Geographic. Единственный минус — небольшой крен на скорости, но после пары часов адаптируешься. Więcej czasu w Kanawa – piasek i barwy wody były absolutnie cinematic. Andalusia oferuje ten rzadki typ ciszy, która nie wynika z izolacji, ale z dobrze zaprojektowanego doświadczenia. Nie czułem się jak turysta, tylko jak członek ekspedycji. Drone shot z szczytu Padar? Warto wstać o 4:30. I choć statek ma tylko 7 kabin, nie czuło się ścisku – organizacja była na poziomie private charter.

I’ve little patience for yachts that prioritise gloss over function. The Andalusia Phinisi is refreshingly different. Built in 2020, it feels modern without being sterile. We sailed to Bidadari Beach early, before the day boats arrived, and had the bay to ourselves. The crew had set up a yoga platform on the aft deck—perfect for sunrise salutations. Later, at Pink Beach, the naturalist guided us through the ecological story behind the sand’s hue. The yacht’s library had well-chosen books on Indonesian marine life—no filler. My cabin had excellent soundproofing; I heard nothing from the engine or adjacent rooms. One evening, the generator failed briefly, plunging us into darkness—ironically, the clearest view of the Milky Way I’ve ever had. Repairs were swift. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about authenticity, and Andalusia Phinisi has it in abundance.
