La Sukha berlayar setiap hari ke Komodo, Padar, Pantai Merah Jambu, dan Rinca — destinasi utama Taman Negara Komodo.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Definitivamente, um level up no luxury travel.

La Sukha Speed Boat glided through Komodo’s archipelago like a whisper. As an Australian accustomed to the Great Barrier Reef, I expected beauty—but not this intensity. At Manta Point, I floated above a cleaning station, mesmerized by the mantas’ silent ballet. Later, Bidadari Beach’s powder sand and glassy waters felt like a dream. The boat’s compact design fosters closeness—perfect for small groups. The crew, led by a soft-spoken but deeply knowledgeable guide, shared stories of local conservation efforts. While storage in the cabin was limited, it mattered little when every moment ashore felt like discovery. Built in 2015, La Sukha shows its years in minor fittings, but her soul is timeless. For raw, unfiltered island beauty, she’s unmatched.

La Sukha Speed Boat offered the perfect counterbalance to crowded group tours. With just one cabin, our experience felt private and unhurried. We spent a dreamy afternoon at Long Beach—empty white sand, turquoise shallows, and not another soul in sight. Later, snorkeling above the coral shelves at Crystal Rock felt like floating through an aquarium. The 2015 build shows in subtle ways—the cabin layout is functional, not lavish—but the craftsmanship in the woodwork and sail rig feels authentic. The crew’s easy humor and knowledge of local currents elevated the journey. I’d have liked a slightly deeper draft for rougher days, but it handled the straits well. This isn’t about opulence; it’s about essence. La Sukha doesn’t shout. It whispers, and Komodo answers.

I booked the La Sukha Speed Boat on a whim—a solo reset between projects—and found myself unexpectedly part of a quiet rhythm. With only six guests max, the dynamic felt more like a shared voyage than a charter. We dove at Manta Point midweek, and floating face-down as those great shadows glided beneath was a kind of communion I hadn’t anticipated. The boat, built in 2015, shows its age in minor fittings, but never in comfort. The galley turns out miso-glazed reef fish that rivals any London seafood bar. One evening, anchored near Gili Lawa, I read on deck until the sky emptied into stars so dense they looked filtered through mesh. My only wish? An extra day. Three felt like a preview. There’s something about the Komodo currents that demands more time to parse.

From the moment we stepped onto La Sukha Speed Boat, I knew this would be special. Celebrating my sister’s engagement, we wanted intimacy and beauty—La Sukha delivered both. Bidadari Beach’s powdery shore felt like a private kingdom. We swam until sunset, then dined on grilled mahi-mahi under a canopy of stars. The boat’s 12-meter frame made every moment feel curated. The single cabin was serene, with soft lighting and a view of the moonlit wake. While the galley is modest, the chef’s creativity shone—lemongrass-infused coconut soup, anyone? A tiny gripe: Wi-Fi was nonexistent (not necessarily a flaw). But that only deepened our presence. This wasn’t a holiday; it was a homecoming to wonder.
