Abbiamo scelto il Madyan Cruise per una fuga tra amici, lontano dal caos della vita city. Con soli 14 posti e cinque cabine, l’atmosfera era subito intima — niente eccessi di turisti, solo silenzi rotti dallo sciabordio dell’acqua. Siamo partiti da Labuan Bajo e il primo day trip a Gili Lawa ci ha lasciati senza parole: snorkeling tra mante come in un documentario BBC. Il team di dive ha organizzato perfettamente le uscite, con briefing chiari e attrezzatura top. La master suite, anche se piccola rispetto a certi yacht Emirates, era funzionale e con un letto king davvero comodo. Ogni mattina, colazione leggera a base di frutta tropicale e caffè vero, mai istantaneo — un dettaglio che apprezzo. A Bidadari Beach abbiamo fatto un drone shot che sembrava uscito da un travel magazine: acqua turchese, sabbia rosa, nessun altro in giro. L’unica nota? Il Wi-Fi era praticamente assente, ma forse è stato un bene — ci ha costretto a staccare veramente. L’itinerary era ben bilanciato tra avventura e relax, anche se un giorno in più sarebbe stato perfetto per esplorare Nusa Kode con calma. Il comandante ha navigato con sicurezza anche in alcune correnti forti vicino Castle Rock. Cucina semplice ma autentica: pesce fresco ogni sera, risotti ben mantecati, zero riscaldati. Per un gruppo come il nostro — amici con un certo standard — il Madyan Cruise ha offerto un equilibrio raro tra comfort discreto e autenticità selvaggia.

As a marine biologist and amateur photographer, I needed a vessel that respected both science and artistry. Madyan Cruise delivered. Our dives at Crystal Rock revealed vibrant soft corals and schooling trevallies, while Castle Rock’s currents brought in white-tip sharks and eagle rays. The captain adjusted our schedule to catch optimal visibility, a rare flexibility. The top deck became our darkroom equivalent—spreadsheets by day, editing by night. While the Wi-Fi was limited, satellite uploads were possible at anchor. The only minor friction: the dive platform lacked a rinse bucket for cameras, but we improvised. Madyan Cruise isn’t about luxury for luxury’s sake—it’s a platform for deeper engagement with the sea, and that’s exactly what we needed.

Le chef, aux petits soins, adaptait les plats à mes envies – un vrai plus pour une wellness retreat enceinte. Le seul point perfectible ? Le Wi-Fi, inexistant, mais finalement, ce déconnexion fut une bénédiction. Ce voyage fut une parenthèse tendre, loin des écrans, proche de la nature et de nous-mêmes. Makanannya balanced—ada Western option tapi juga nasi hangat setiap waktu. Di hari ketiga, we anchored near Rinca Island, and the ranger-led trek was educational tanpa terlalu exhausting. Madyan Cruise’s safety record juga bikin kami tenang. One note: lebih seru kalau ada floating toys untuk kids, tapi they managed with what’s available. Ein unvergesslicher Luxus-Urlaub mit Madyan Cruise
Als wir von Ried im Innkreis aus zu unserer Babymoon-Reise mit der Madyan Cruise aufbrachen, wussten wir, dass es etwas Besonderes werden würde – aber nicht, wie emotional und perfekt alles werden sollte. Die 22,5-Meter-Phinisi ist eine Oase des Understatements: stilvoll, aber nie überladen. Unser Master Suite-Cabin bot mehr als Komfort – es war ein Rückzugsort mit Meerblick, der jeden Morgen mit einem neuen Farbspiel am Horizont begrüßte. Unser Guide verstand es, uns zwischen Taka Makassar und Kalong Island nicht nur die Highlights zu zeigen, sondern auch die Stille der Natur spüren zu lassen. Die Schnorcheltouren waren ein echter Wow-Moment – besonders die Schildkröten bei Taka Makassar. Einzig die Bordklimaanlage war etwas laut, aber das war ein kleiner Preis für so viel Natur. Das Team servierte frische Seafood-Grills am Strand, und der Sunset-Dinner-Setup auf Padar war einfach magical. Wer einen mix aus Adventure und luxury experience sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Der Drone Shot, den der Fotograf vom Boot aus machte, wird für immer unser Wallpaper bleiben.

Komodo'yu sadece bir 'itinerary' parçası olarak değil, bir ruhsal dönüşüm olarak deneyimlemek isteyen biri için Madyan Cruise mükemmel bir tercih. 5 gün, 4 gece boyunca yalnızlıkla yüzleşmeye, doğayla iç içe olmaya ve photography expedition amaçlı olarak drone shot'larını net alabileceğim bir ortam arıyordum. Madyan, 22.5 metrelik phinisi yapısıyla hem stabil hem de estetik açıdan çok zarifti. Master suite, doğaya açılan geniş pencereleriyle huzur vericiydi. Özellikle Padar Island’a çıkışımız sabahın erken saatlerindeydi; orada manzara, ışık açısı ve sessizlik birleşince neredeyse mistik bir hava oluştu. Drone ile çektiğim aerial shot'lar, sosyal medya hesabım için oldukça premium duruyor. Batu Bolong'da ise trekking sonrası denize girmek, vücuttaki tüm gerilimi attırdı. Kabinler 5 adet, maksimum 14 misafir alması da özel hissettiriyor – kalabalıktan uzak, kişiselleştirilmiş bir deneyim. Catering, yerel baharatlarla harmanlanmış hafif akdeniz dokunuşları içeriyordu; tek küçük eksik, sabit wifi erişiminin sınırlı olmasıydı. Telefonu çekmeden geç saatlere kadar kalamıyordum ama belki bu da kasıtlıydı – teknolojiden kopmak, doğayla bütünleşmek için. Bir gün daha kalmayı denerdim. Yine de, bu dengeyi sağlayan Madyan Cruise’u düşünüyorum.
