KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Our honeymoon on the Putra Rezky Boat was everything we dreamed: private, profound, and wildly beautiful. As newlyweds, we craved intimacy without isolation, and this yacht struck the balance perfectly. Mornings began with coffee on the foredeck, watching the mist rise off Komodo Island. We snorkeled hand-in-hand at Manta Point—seeing those gentle giants glide past was like swimming through a dream. The crew arranged a candlelit dinner on Bidadari Beach, with local music and grilled lobster. The yacht, though compact, feels luxurious—the linen, the scent of teak, the silence at anchor. The only slight hiccup: the shower drain backed up once, but it was resolved within minutes. Still, the magic outweighed any minor flaw. To wake up each day to a new bay, untouched and breathtaking, with your spouse and a crew that treats you like family—this is how legends are made.

Led a six-person leadership team on the Putra Rezky Boat—needed a setting that balanced focus and freedom. We began at Manta Point, where the mantas glided beneath us like silent advisors. The boat’s length—23 meters—meant we could hold morning briefings on the aft deck, then scatter. One afternoon, we anchored near Sebayur Island and kayaked through mangroves, spotting monitor lizards along the banks. The cabins, though modest, were clean and well-maintained. Meals were served family-style: grilled snapper, sambal matah, jackfruit rendang. The Wi-Fi, while advertised, was inconsistent—ironic, given we’d come to disconnect. But the real value was in the rhythm: no clocks, just tides. The crew anticipated needs without fuss. By day four, our decision-making had shifted—less reactive, more deliberate. A subtle but profound reset.

Putra Rezky Boat delivered a masterclass in relaxed luxury. My wife and I, both in our early 60s, appreciated the thoughtful layout—spacious enough for privacy, intimate enough for connection. We anchored at Pink Beach, where the crushed coral glowed at midday, and spent hours kayaking in the shallows. Later, a sunset cruise near Batu Bolong offered the best snorkeling I’ve experienced—vibrant coral gardens and reef sharks gliding beneath us. The chef’s seafood curry was unforgettable. While the yacht is only 23 meters, the design maximizes every inch; still, taller guests might find the lower berths a touch snug. What truly elevated the journey was the crew’s quiet competence—anticipating needs without intrusion. We’re already discussing a return with our grown children. Komodo, through the lens of Putra Rezky, feels untouched and utterly authentic.

Our family of five—two adults, three teens—sought adventure without sacrificing comfort, and the Putra Rezky Boat delivered. The teens were instantly hooked by the kayaks and snorkel gear, exploring every cove near Bidadari Beach. One morning, we woke to find a pod of dolphins racing the bow—a moment of pure joy. The crew, led by a remarkably calm captain, orchestrated our days with precision: a hike on Komodo Island, then a lazy afternoon at Pink Beach. The yacht’s common area became our living room, where we played cards and watched the stars. The cabins are compact but well-designed, though taller teens found the berths a bit short. Still, the trade-off was worth it for the intimacy and access to remote spots. Dining was a highlight—fresh tuna one night, spiced octopus the next. Putra Rezky Boat made Komodo feel personal, not packaged.
