We anchored at Kanawa Island twice, once for sunrise swim, once for quiet reading on the sand. The breeze there? Like nature’s aircon. Meals were light but flavorful—grilled fish with turmeric sauce, fresh papaya, and lemon honey water always available. Didn’t dive, but did some shallow snorkeling. Daarna aankomen bij Pink Beach voelde als een reward: het zand is werkelijk roze, en de drone shot die de guide nam gaf ons een perspective die je vanaf het strand nooit zou begrijpen. We vlogen vanuit Bali en hadden slechts vier dagen, wat uiteindelijk net iets te kort voelde. Ik zou minstens vijf dagen nemen, misschien zelfs een extra nacht voorbij Taka Makassar, waar de onderwaterwereld nog ongerept is. Kleine opmerking: de wifi is, zoals te verwachten, inconsistent — maar eerlijk? Dat maakt de detox pas echt compleet.
