Für unseren firmeninternen Leadership-Retreat brauchten wir etwas Außergewöhnliches – kein Meeting-Raum, sondern Natur als Coach. Die Putra Rezky Boat war die ideale Wahl: stilvoll, aber nicht überladen, mit exakt dem richtigen Maß an Komfort für vier Executive Cabins. Als Gruppe aus sechs Personen (plus zwei Berater) fühlten wir uns nie beengt. Batu Bolong am Morgen mit Spotting von Komodowaranen und kristallklarem Wasser war ein Highlight – der perfekte Mix aus Abenteuer und Fokus. Später am Tag genossen wir einen atemberaubenden drone shot von Crystal Rock, den der Guide professionell einfing. Der itinerary war clever gestaltet: genug Action, aber auch Puffer für Impulsgespräche an Deck. Die Crew agierte fast unsichtbar, war aber stets präsent – besonders beim Sunset-Cocktail mit lokalen Zutaten. Lediglich die Klimaanlage in meiner Kabine hatte leichte Schwankungen, was bei der tropischen Hitze auffiel. Doch insgesamt war die Balance zwischen work & unwind ideal. Als corporate retreat mit tiefem Naturbezug und subtle luxury ist die Putra Rezky Boat schwer zu schlagen.

As a photographer, I appreciated the lack of glare on deck; the wood absorbs light beautifully. Snorkeled at Taka Makassar, where the current brings in pelagics even at midday. The boat’s four cabins mean limited guest flow, which we preferred. Our group of eight found rhythm quickly—coffee at 6:30, dive prep by 7. The crew’s English was fluent, and meals leaned into regional herbs: torch ginger, kaffir lime, wild lemongrass. One critique: the lower cabin ventilation could be improved in high humidity. But the overall execution—clean, calm, deeply attuned to the environment—was exactly what we needed. This isn’t a floating hotel. It’s a vessel with intent.
