Von Anfang an spürte man den Unterschied zur Standardcharter. Der Service an Bord ist auf einem Level, das man sonst nur aus 5-Sterne-Resorts kennt. Unsere master suite war geräumig, mit viel Naturholz und einem Balkon, der direkten Blick auf die atemberaubende Küste von Komodo bot. Unser Guide kannte die besten Spots – wir haben bei Manta Point geschnorchelt, was absolut surreal war, und später am Crystal Rock einen atemberaubenden drone shot gemacht, den wir jetzt im Firmenlobby zeigen. Das Frühstück wurde immer frisch zubereitet, und der Küchenchef passte sich sogar speziellen Diätanforderungen an. Einzig der WiFi-Empfang war etwas schwach – aber hey, wir waren ja schließlich im Nationalpark. Die Kombination aus Luxus und Natur war so gut balanciert, dass man sich wahrlich erholt fühlt.
