En tant que photographe professionnel, je choisis mes destinations avec exigence. L’Arfisyana Indah Phinisi s’est imposé comme le cadre idéal pour capturer Komodo. L’équipage m’a permis de partir tôt pour Padar Island afin d’attraper le first light — un moment épique vu d’en haut. De là, la composition des baies en forme de croissant est simplement perfect. J’ai aussi obtenu un drone shot unique de Komodo Island, avec les dragons en mouvement. Le bateau offre un roof deck stable, essentiel pour le matériel. Seul bémol : la prise 220V dans le salon était limitée, un défi pour recharger plusieurs batteries. Mais l’accès à des prises supplémentaires a été offert sans problème. Un vrai support pour les créatifs.

Amener mes parents (78 et 80 ans), mon mari et nos deux enfants (9 et 12) sur un phinisi semblait risqué. Mais l’Arfisyana Indah Phinisi a tout rendu fluide. Les cabines communicantes étaient pratiques, et l’équipage a fait preuve d’une patience exemplaire avec les grands-parents — aide aux descentes en tender, promenades douces sur Komodo Island. Nous avons passé une matinée inoubliable à observer les dragons de près, puis déjeuné sur Sebayur Island, totalement déserte. Le petit dernier a adoré le paddle et le snorkeling à Taka Makassar. Le seul point à améliorer : la clim dans une des Standard Cabins a un peu cafouillé une nuit. Mais l’équipe a réagi vite. Ce voyage a resserré les liens familiaux — rare à notre époque.

Com espaço dedicado no deck para montar tripés e baterias extras, além de um guia que sabia exatamente os horários de luz em Pink Beach, foi um prazer técnico e estético. Em Long Beach, capturei um golden hour digno de capa de National Geographic. O barco, construído em 2018, mostra manutenção impecável — cada detalhe em mogno brilha, mas sem ostentação. Apenas um pequeno detalhe: o carregador USB na Standard Cabin falhou no segundo dia. Fora isso, cada refeição foi pensada com ingredientes locais — peixe grelhado com limão de Lombok, acompanhado de um rosé gelado perfeito. Um equilíbrio raro entre aventura e refinement.

We kozen de Arfisyana Indah Phinisi voor onze babymoon, en wat een verstandige keuze was dat. De rust aan boord, gecombineerd met de sublieme service, gaf ons precies de balans tussen privacy en verkenning die we zochten. Met tweeën in de Master Suite voelden we ons verwend, maar nooit overdonderd — de houtafwerking en lichte stoffen creëren een serene ambiance. Onze itinerary bracht ons naar Manta Point, waar we vanaf het dek mantas zagen dansen in de stroming, en daarna naar Gili Lawa Darat voor een late lunch onder de palmen. De zonsondergang vanaf de bow was pure magic — zelfs mijn partner, die nooit met de drone wilde oefenen, pakte de controller uit vanwege de perfect light. Het enige kleine minpunt: de wifi was een beetje spotty, maar eerlijk gezegd, dat was bijna een zegen. We hadden meer tijd om te praten, te lezen, te ademen. De crew regelde een private dinner op het strand bij Taka Makassar, met gegrilde vis en citroenkruid — simpel, maar zo veel smaak. Nous avons navigué de Padar Island à Bidadari Beach, avec une escale surprise à un spot de snorkeling secret près de Taka Makassar. Les coraux y sont intacts, les raies majestueuses. Ma cabine, bien que Standard, offrait une fenêtre panoramique et un service aux petits soins. J’ai particulièrement aimé les lectures du capitaine sur l’histoire des Bugis, les bâtisseurs de phinisis. Peut-être aurions-nous apprécié un peu plus de documentation écrite sur l’itinéraire. Mais cela reste un détail. Ici, on voyage avec les sens, pas avec les brochures.
