Le Kanha Loka Phinisi a surpassé mes attentes, malgré une légère montée de scepticisme en voyant sa taille — 34 mètres, 7 cabines, 25 guests max. Surprise : l’espace est parfaitement optimisé. Cabine 3, spacieuse, insonorisée, literie *hotel-grade*. L’itinerary ciblait Manta Point et Castle Rock — deux spots puissants, riches en courants et biodiversité. À Manta Point, trois mantas sont passés sous notre palanquée, à moins d’un mètre. Le staff, très pro, a anticipé chaque besoin : combinaisons rincées, bouteilles préparées, briefing clair en anglais et français. Un détail ? J’aurais aimé une journée de plus à Bidadari Beach — cette baie turquoise mérite plus que deux heures de paddle. Mais ce léger regret ne gâche rien. Le repas du soir, un fusion asiatique avec touches provençales (houmous à l’ail noir, daurade au wok), montrait une réelle attention au détail. Pas de folie, juste de la justesse. C’est rare. Et précieux.

The crew understood our needs — early departures, flexible mealtimes — which made covering Gili Lawa’s coral gardens seamless. The boat’s upper deck became our editing station, surprisingly stable even in mild swells. Cabins were compact but smartly designed; I appreciated the USB-C ports and blackout curtains. One note: the SD card reader in the media lounge could be upgraded. But that’s nitpicking. This wasn’t just a vessel — it was a floating base for visual exploration.
