Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Prana by Atzaro. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

We booked Prana by Atzaro for our honeymoon with little expectation beyond comfort, but what we found was a rhythm—slow, intentional, deeply attuned to the sea. The crew anticipated without hovering, which is rare. At Long Beach, we swam at dusk when the light turned the sand a molten copper. No one else in sight. Later, anchored near Pink Beach, we kayaked into a cove so quiet you could hear parrots inland. The woodwork throughout the yacht speaks of craftsmanship, not opulence—teak handrails worn smooth, linen that breathes in the heat. Our cabin, the Borobudur, had sliding doors that opened directly to the wake. Only quibble? Wi-Fi is more of a myth than a service, which, honestly, we stopped missing by day three. This isn’t a place for constant connection. It’s for noticing how the wind shifts before rain, or how the crew lights lanterns just as the sky deepens. We saw three mantas at Manta Point—graceful, silent—and didn’t reach for our phones. That, more than anything, says it all.

Manta Point juga memorable — diving with them feels humbling, seperti being welcomed to their world. Tapi overall, the simplicity with luxury touch ini rare. Bahkan captain share local stories di malam terakhir — sangat human, very grounding.

Celebrated our 15th anniversary on Prana by Atzaro, and it struck that delicate balance—luxury without pretense. The welcome drink wasn’t a cocktail but house-made lemongrass and ginger infusion, served as we watched the sun fall behind Manjarite. That became our pattern: gentle immersion. We swam at Pink Beach twice—once with the group, once just the two of us at low tide, when the coral fossils in the sand were fully exposed. The yacht’s design favours flow: the upper deck lounge, open-air dining, the forward seating—each space distinct but never isolated. Our suite had a daybed we never left after lunch, facing the wake. Staff remembered my preference for still over sparkling by day two. Only thought: could have used one more full day in the southern islands. Manta Point was exhilarating, but brief. That said, the rhythm was never rushed. Evenings were candlelit, conversations easy. We didn’t need entertainment. The sea provided enough.
