As a photographer, I’m drawn to light and texture — and the Cordelia Phinisi offered both in abundance. The woodwork alone is worth documenting: hand-planed teak, brass fittings, sails that catch the dawn like gold foil. Later, a climb on Padar’s eastern ridge at sunset revealed Komodo National Park in its full, dramatic scale.
