Яхта 27 метров — не гигант, но пространство продумано до мелочей: наша master suite с панорамными окнами, тихий кондиционер, даже отдельный reading nook. Понял, что класс vip здесь — не просто слово. Маршрут включал Rinca Island и Manta Point — на Ринке видели драконов вблизи, а у Manta Point я делал drone shot, который теперь на всех моих соцсетях. Экипаж — отдельное удовольствие: шеф готовил свежий ceviche каждый день, а бармен знал, как сделать ideal Aperol Spritz, даже на качке. Единственный минус — Wi-Fi слабоват после 18:00, но, возможно, это даже к лучшему. Отключился от дел, наслаждался моментом. Itinerary был идеально сбалансирован: дайвинг, хайкинг, релакс на палубе. Levar meus dois filhos adolescentes e meu marido no Alfatran Phinisi Lombok foi a decisão certa para nosso corporate retreat familiar. Em Bidadari Beach, fizemos stand-up paddle juntos — os guias foram pacientes, mesmo com meu filho mais novo quase caindo três vezes. O passeio em Komodo Island foi bem estruturado: grupo pequeno, caminhada guiada segura, e tempo extra para fotos com os dragões. Achei o almoço no deck um pouco repetitivo nos dois primeiros dias, mas no terceiro surpreenderam com um ceviche de atum com pimenta dedo-de-moça — perfeito. Desde el primer contacto, el equipo fue impecable: detalles como el welcome drink con hierbas locales y la disposición del staff en ajustar horarios según nuestro ritmo hicieron la diferencia. Navegamos desde Sebayur Island, donde el snorkel entre corales vírgenes nos dejó sin aliento, hasta Pink Beach, cuya tonalidad en persona es aún más surrealista —tomé una drone shot desde la proa que vale su peso en oro. Las cabinas son amplias, aunque el wifi es algo limitado (algo que, en retrospectiva, agradecemos). Mi única observación menor: un día extra en Kalong Island hubiera sido perfecto para observar más de cerca los murciélagos al atardecer. La master suite, con su ventilación cruzada natural y baño en madera de teca, combinaba diseño tradicional con comodidades modernas sin caer en el exceso. El chef anticipaba nuestros gustos antes de pedir; cada comida era una experiencia cuidadosamente orquestada, desde el sashimi de atún local hasta los mangos batidos con coco verde. Avevamo prenotato l’Alfatran Phinisi Lombok per festeggiare i miei 40 anni con un piccolo photography expedition group – amici appassionati di natura selvaggia e fotografia subacquea. La barca, costruita nel 2018, mantiene uno stile classico del phinisi ma con un interior design che sfiora il minimal luxury. La mia master suite, con bagno in teak e ventilazione ottimizzata, era silenziosa e funzionale, perfetta per ricaricare le attrezzature tra un drone shot e l’altro. Abbiamo navigato da Gili Lawa a Taka Makassar, dove lo snorkeling tra i banchi di fusiliers e i manta è stato semplicemente... perfect. L’itinerary era ben studiato: non troppo serrato, con spazio per sessioni di shooting al mattino e relax pomeridiano. Il team di bordo è professionale, discreto, e ha preparato un cocktail di benvenuto con ingredienti locali che ha sorpreso tutti. A tavola, pesce fresco ogni giorno, servito con un tocco moderno ma rispettoso della tradizione. Forse l’unico punto debole? Il segnale wifi quasi inesistente – ma in fondo, chi cerca connessione in mezzo al Komodo National Park? Avrei solo voluto una notte in più a Pink Beach, per catturare la luce dell’alba sulle particelle di corallo. Nel complesso, un’esperienza autentica, ben curata nei dettagli, senza eccessi di formalità. Esattamente ciò che cercavo per un milestone birthday.

Joined Alfatran Phinisi Lombok as part of a 6-person dive group from Jakarta. Our main goal? See the Komodo dragons and hit the best walls in the park. We did both, plus more. The dive setup was pro-grade — tanks always filled, rinse bins organized, and the guide knew exactly where the pygmy seahorses hide near Sebayur Island. One morning, we did a double dive at Batu Bolong, and the viz was 25 meters — insane. Surface interval lunch was a highlight: ceviche with lime and chili, served with cold sparkling water. On dry land, Padar Island’s panorama was worth every step. The crew even waited with chilled towels and fresh coconut. Only critique: the group size max is 28, but with 14 guests, the common deck got a bit crowded at sunset. Still, the energy was good. Alfatran balances adventure and comfort like no other. We talked about extending to 7 days — next time, for sure.
