Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Sea Familia. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Our dive squad dari Medan booked Sea Familia for a reunion trip — and wow, what a success. Six of us in premium cabins, all ensuite dan private. Diving at Crystal Rock was epic: strong currents, pelagics everywhere, dan visibility over 30 meters. Crew timed the dives perfectly with slack tide. The dive deck is spacious with individual gear bins — no more mix-ups! After diving, jacuzzi session sambil minum mojito, terus dinner dengan grilled lobster. Heaven. Sea Familia’s design is elegant tapi not stiff — feel like we’re on a private yacht, not a charter. Only minor thing: more underwater photo editing tools on the media tablet would be cool. But they still sent us edited clips post-trip! From Rinca’s komodos to night dive at Long Beach, every moment was thrilling. If you want Komodo dengan comfort dan adventure in one, Sea Familia is the answer.

Sea Familia gave us the honeymoon we dreamed of—private, elegant, dengan sedikit adventure. We spent a full day exploring Komodo Island with our ranger, then cooled off at Long Beach with chilled coconut. Malam pertama, they decorated our cabin with flower petals and local candles—so thoughtful. Snorkeling di Kanawa Island, I saw my first sea turtle—swimming beside it felt sacred. Kabin kami, 'Mangrove', luas dan design-nya minimalist tapi warm. WiFi hanya kuat di sundeck, tapi we didn’t mind—forced us to be present. We ended with a sunrise toast at Kalong Island, just the two of us. No words, just silence and smiles. Exactly what we needed.

From the moment we stepped aboard Sea Familia, the blend of Javanese craftsmanship and modern luxury was unmistakable. The teak decks, open-air lounge, and impeccably dressed crew made our honeymoon feel like a private film set in paradise. We anchored at Pink Beach, where the shore glowed in that surreal coral hue—perfect for barefoot strolls and sunset champagne. The next morning, we kayaked around Batu Bolong, spotting reef sharks and nesting birds without another boat in sight. The only minor note? The Wi-Fi was spotty—though honestly, that became a blessing in disguise. Unplugged and utterly present. Sea Familia doesn’t just host you; it immerses you. The chef’s Balinese tuna tartare was a revelation, and our cabin, with its king bed and floor-to-ceiling portholes, felt like a floating sanctuary. For those seeking intimacy with nature and a touch of five-star ease, this is the vessel.

As someone who’s sailed the Whitsundays and the Amalfi Coast, I can say Sea Familia stands apart. It’s not just the luxury—it’s the harmony between boat, crew, and environment. We spent a mesmerizing afternoon at Taka Makassar, where the coral shelves drop into blue void, then anchored near Kanawa Island for a sunset swim. The upper deck became our private lounge, with champagne and spiced cashews as the sky turned violet. The staff remembered my nut allergy without prompting—a detail that spoke volumes. The master suite was exquisite, though the wardrobe lighting was a touch dim. But that’s trivial. For a photography expedition, the vantage points were unparalleled: low decks for water-level shots, a flybridge for wide panoramas. Sea Familia doesn’t just take you to Komodo—it lets you live inside its beauty.

Choosing Sea Familia for our babymoon was one of the most intuitive decisions we’ve made. At nearly 30 weeks, I needed calm, and the gentle rock of the yacht off Kanawa Island offered just that. The crew adjusted meal pacing to my energy levels—light coconut soups, chilled papaya, no rush. Snorkeling here felt weightless, almost symbolic. The shallow reefs teemed with parrotfish and clown anemones, a quiet contrast to Singapore’s pace. Mornings began with yoga on deck, the instructor mindful of prenatal modifications. The only hiccup: the fan in our cabin had a faint hum, noticeable in deep quiet. But even that faded beneath the sound of lapping waves. This wasn’t escape—it was recalibration.

Traveling solo but never alone, Sea Familia offered both privacy and connection. From the moment I arrived at Labuan Bajo, the staff greeted me by name, guiding me aboard with a lemongrass spritz in hand. The yacht’s design—sleek lines, open decks, hand-carved details—felt like stepping into a nautical dream. I spent an unforgettable afternoon snorkelling at Batu Bolong, where manta rays glided beneath me like shadows in glass. Back on deck, I read in the cushioned daybed as the breeze carried the scent of salt and frangipani. One night, anchored off Pink Beach, the sky blazed with stars—no light pollution, just the soft creak of the hull and distant waves. The only note? The shower pressure was a bit low—likely due to tank conservation, which I respect. Sea Familia balances eco-sensitivity with opulence beautifully. For those who value quiet luxury and raw natural beauty, this is the pinnacle.

After years of urban grind, my wellness retreat aboard Sea Familia felt like a long-overdue homecoming. The absence of city noise—replaced by wind in the sails and the occasional splash near the hull—was profound. We meditated at dawn off Padar Island, its jagged ridgeline glowing amber, then floated in warm currents near Pink Beach, where the sand’s blush hue comes from crushed coral, not marketing. The onboard therapist offered daily meridian massages, and meals were plant-forward, seasonal, and never overcomposed. My only critique: the cold plunge, while refreshing, could use a gentler entry. But that’s minor. Sea Familia doesn’t perform serenity—it simply exists within it.
