Z mężem i dwojgiem dzieci (9 i 12 lat) szukaliśmy tripu, który połączy adventure i relaxation. Abizar okazał się idealny – 25 metrów to dużo przestrzeni dla 6 osób. Wybraliśmy itinerary z Kanawa, Gili Lawa i krótkim transferem do Wae Rebo. Dzieci uwielbiały pływanie z żółwiami, a ja spędziłam poranki na upper deck z herbatą i widokiem na Sebayur. Master suite ma dobrą wentylację – ważne przy wilgotności. Standard cabins dla dzieci były czyste, choć bez osobnych łazienek – ale to rozsądne przy tej cenie. Crew był incredibly attentive – organizowali mini treasure hunt na plaży. Jedyna rzecz: wish we had one more day at sea. Trudno się rozstać z takim rytmem – wstajesz z słońcem, pływamy, lunch, siesta, kąpiel w morzu. To był nie tyle luxury, co deep reset. Jeg feiret min femtiårsdag med ni venner på Abizar, og det var en av de mest gjennomtenkte reisene jeg noensinne har vært med på. Abizar er lite nok til å føles intimt, men stort nok til at man får sin privatliv. Vi hadde Castle Rock som et av høydepunktene – dykkeguiden var proff og hadde med seg en underwater camera. Senere hadde vi en private dinner på dekk med candlelight og live guitar. Det var ikke overdetaljert, men likevel så... perfect. Wellnessretreat-elementet kom gjennom med morgenyoga og massasje på bakdek. Jeg hadde håpet på et besøk til Crystal Rock, men det ble avlyst grunnet vind – noe jeg forstår, men likevel litt skuffende. Likevel: Abizar leverer en subtil form for luksus. Ingenting er påtatt. Alt føles naturlig, flytende. Crewen husket alle våre navn og drikkvaner innen 24 timer. Det er det som skiller Abizar fra resten.

Our dive group booked Abizar for its reputation among Komodo insiders. We weren’t disappointed. The dive deck was organized—racks, rinse tanks, camera station—all thought through. At Manta Point, we had the site to ourselves for two hours. The mantas circled close, curious, their mouths filtering plankton in slow motion. The boat’s tender was stable, even in mild current. I stayed in the Master Suite; the ensuite shower had excellent water pressure, a rarity on yachts. Meals were served family-style—grilled reef fish, papaya salad, local coffee. One evening, the captain anchored near Kalong. We watched the bats spiral into the twilight, a living tornado against the sky. My only note: the cabin fans could be louder at night. But the sound of water against the hull usually drowned it out.

Em Gili Lawa, fizemos um piquenique na praia com frutas tropicais e champanhe. A Master Suite tem uma poltrona de leitura junto à janela, perfeita para manhãs com café e diário. Em Rinca Island, vi meu primeiro dragão de Komodo — impressionante, com uma energia primitiva. O jantar de aniversário teve um bolo caseiro com glacê de maracujá e uma carta escrita à mão pelo capitão. Pequeno gesto, grande impacto.
