Fomos à Athira Phinisi em nosso babymoon, e foi a escolha perfeita para desacelerar. O master suite tem uma cama king que parece flutuar — sério, o colchão é daqueles que você nem quer sair de manhã. Passamos dois dias em Crystal Rock, onde fizemos snorkel ao amanhecer. A visibilidade estava crystal clear, e avistamos até um casal de raias. A equipe entendeu perfeitamente nosso ritmo mais calmo: café servido na proa com vista para o mar, sem pressa. A única coisa? O sinal de wifi é weak nas áreas externas, mas talvez tenha sido bom — forçou a desconexão. O jantar no deck com toalhas brancas e luz de velas foi muito bem executado, com frutos do mar frescos e um vinho tinto indonésio surpreendente. A parada em Bidadari Beach foi mágica, nadamos entre cardumes coloridos. Não sentimos falta de nada, exceto talvez mais tempo. Quatro dias foi quase cruel — queríamos estender.

Celebrar nuestros 10 años a bordo del Athira Phinisi fue un dream come true. Desde que subimos al yate, el equipo nos hizo sentir como en casa, con un toque de elegancia discreta. La master suite tiene unas líneas arquitectónicas impecables, y despertar frente a Bidadari Beach al amanecer fue casi místico. Nadamos en Crystal Rock por la tarde, y el staff organizó un picnic con detalles que solo un ojo entrenado podría notar: vino chileno, queso curado, aceitunas de Aragón. El único downside fue que el wifi era un poco spotty —pero, en el fondo, ¿quién necesita conexión cuando tienes este paisaje? La cena a bordo esa noche, con pescado fresco a la brasa y un blend de Malbec, fue el toque perfecto. El itinerario estuvo bien equilibrado: suficiente aventura en Rinca Island con los dragones, pero también tiempo para desconectar. Mi esposo no para de hablar del drone shot que logramos desde la proa. Hubiera querido un día más, pero tal vez eso sea lo mejor: que aún desees más cuando termina.

I’ve spent years chasing ‘off-grid’ luxury, but the Athira Phinisi redefined it. At Sebayur Island, we spent an entire day without sighting another boat—just coral, current, and quiet. The yacht’s size—25.7 meters—struck the right balance: large enough for stability, small enough for intimacy. As a solo traveler, I valued the option to join group activities or retreat with a book on the upper deck. The Master Suite’s sliding doors opened directly to a private nook, perfect for morning coffee. One afternoon, we anchored near Castle Rock and free-dived alongside reef sharks—controlled adrenaline, perfectly managed by the safety team. The galley’s use of local ingredients stood out: tamarind, torch ginger, and wild-caught snapper prepared with restraint. My only critique: limited vegan options beyond modifications. But the chef was willing to adapt, which mattered more.

Taking our three children—ages 7, 10, and 13—on the Athira Phinisi was a leap of faith, but the crew made it effortless. The Standard Cabins were more spacious than expected, and having interconnecting doors was a godsend. At Komodo Island, the naturalist guide kept the kids captivated with tales of dragon behavior and venom mechanics. They still won’t stop talking about it. The highlight was Kalong Island at dusk: drifting silently as thousands of fruit bats erupted from the mangroves. The staff set up a projector on the upper deck that night for a marine biology film—smart, subtle education woven into leisure. I wished we’d had one more full day at sea; four felt tight. Still, the attention to detail—organic sunscreen stocked, child-sized snorkel kits ready—spoke of deep operational thought. This wasn’t luxury for luxury’s sake; it was thoughtful, family-intentional design.

İstanbul’da yoğun bir iş hayatı var, bu yüzden bu yılki birthday getaway’im için tam bir disconnect arıyordum. Athira Phinisi, sadece bir tekne değil, bir floating retreat gibi çalıştı. 7 cabin ama sadece 12 guest ile dolu olduğumuz için her alan çok private hissettiriyordu. Kalong Island’da yarasa sürüsünün havaya kalkışını izlemek, sonraki gün Manta Point’te manta vızıldarken yüzmek — ikisi de bucket list’ten şeylerdi. Master Suite’in balkonu, sabah kahvaltımı orada yapmama izin verdi, denizin sesi eşliğinde. Tek küçük eksik, güverte üstünde bir massage tent olsaydı, daha da perfect olurdu. Ama crew’ün ilgisi, her isteğimize anında cevap vermeleri, o boşluğu doldurdu. Itinerary çok iyi planlanmış, her gün farklı bir energy sunuyor. Teknede müzik seçimi de çok chill, lounge vibe’ı tamamlıyordu.
