Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Atimon Phinisi. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

This time, we anchored near Wae Rebo and did a sunrise trek — village-nya terlihat seperti dari dunia lain. After that, sailing ke Castle Rock untuk snorkeling, current-nya strong tapi worth it. The Master Suite has panoramic windows, jadi bisa lihat laut dari kasur. The whole trip felt curated, not crowded. Saya bahkan sempat meditasi di deck pagi hari, tanpa gangguan sama sekali.

As someone who appreciates design, the Atimon Phinisi’s 2023 build is a masterclass in balance. The joinery, the flow from salon to deck, the way the cabins are positioned for both view and privacy—everything feels considered. We spent a full day exploring Castle Rock, diving the current-swept slopes where grey reef sharks patrol. The dive master knew the site intimately, guiding us to a hidden overhang where turtles sleep. Back on board, cold towels and fresh water awaited. The Master Suite’s king bed faced sliding glass doors that opened to the wake—falling asleep to the sound of water was sublime. I did find the shower pressure a touch low, but that’s a small trade for the boat’s overall water conservation ethos. At Kanawa Island, we swam with dugongs briefly—magic, fleeting. This wasn’t luxury as excess. It was luxury as care.

Kabin Master Suite punya bathtub kecil, kami pakai sambil lihat bulan. Satu hal: shower drain agak lambat, tapi minor. Yang saya suka: crew tidak mengambil foto tanpa permission, very respectful. Sailing ke Pink Beach, kami diberi waktu sendiri selama 3 jam. No disturbance.

Baru saja selesai treatment, dan dokter sarankan coastal retreat. Atimon Phinisi felt like a floating sanctuary. The Master Suite’s king bed faced the sea—waking up to waves every morning was therapeutic. We spent two days anchored near Castle Rock, where the current was strong, tapi I just sat on the bow with my journal. The crew introduced me to local herbal tea—they call it 'jala bumi'—and it helped with my sleep. Snorkeling at Taka Makassar was breathtaking, but I hanya watched from above. One thing: the cabin door sometimes creaked in the wind, tapi it became part of the rhythm. The silence between Komodo islands? Priceless. This wasn’t just a trip—it was a reset.
