We spent three days documenting reef health at Gili Lawa and Batu Bolong, where the yacht’s shallow draft allowed us to anchor close without damaging coral. The crew adhered strictly to no-anchor zones, using GPS markers instead. Equipment storage was thoughtful—dry bins, padded racks, and a rinse station that saved hours. One evening, after a drift dive at Castle Rock, we reviewed stills on the saloon screen, lit only by a single lamp. The chef adjusted meal times around dive schedules without complaint. My sole observation: a dedicated external hard drive backup station would enhance data security. But overall, this was field logistics executed with elegance and care.
A Masterclass in Seafaring
Having sailed on several phinisi, the Behike Phinisi distinguishes itself through restraint. There’s no gilding, just precision: the varnish on the handrails, the angle of the reading lamps, the weight of the cutlery. 아이를 맡기고 아내와 단 둘이서 Behike Phinisi에서 babymoon을 보냈어요. Long Beach에서의 private dinner setup이 정말 thoughtfully arranged였고, 셰프가 우리 취향에 맞춰 omakase-style 메뉴를 구성해 줬어요. Pink Beach의 unique silica sand를 맨발로 밟는 건 surreal한 감각이었죠. Standard Cabin도 조용한 위치라 밤새 잠을 잘 잘 수 있었고, 객실마다 diffuser로 lavender scent가 퍼져 있었어요. 다만, 보트가 약간 sway해서 민감하신 분은 motion sickness patch를 준비하는 게 좋아요. 그래도 아침마다 제공된 fresh coconut water가 기분을 상쾌하게 만들어 줬어요.

I joined a corporate group of eight on the Behike Phinisi, expecting comfort but not transformation. We sailed from Castle Rock to Wainilu, then on to Bidadari Beach, each location chosen for both beauty and utility. The yacht served as a mobile boardroom by morning, a dive platform by noon, and a private lounge by dusk. The Master Suite I occupied had a writing desk perfectly lit for early emails—a small thing, but one I appreciated. The crew’s ability to shift roles—server to dive assistant to navigator—was impressive. At Crystal Rock, we encountered strong currents, but the captain positioned the boat flawlessly. Post-dive, warm robes and ginger tea awaited. The food leaned into local flavors without sacrificing refinement: think betel-leaf-wrapped prawns, jackfruit rendang. My only note: the Bluetooth in the main cabin speaker cut out twice. But we played vinyl instead, which somehow felt more authentic. This wasn’t luxury as excess, but as intention.

سافرت مع زوجتي في رحلة هادئة بعد زواجنا، واخترنا Behike Phinisi لخصوصيته. من اليوم الأول، شعرنا بالترحيب. الـwelcome drink كان مكوناً من فواكه محلية، مع بطاقة مكتوبة بخط اليد. الـmaster suite كانت فسيحة، مع حمام كبير ودش مطري. توقفنا في Pink Beach عند الغسق، وكان المشهد خيالياً – الرمال الوردية تحت ضوء الشمس الذهبي. الـdining experience كان مثالياً – قائمة متغيرة يومياً، مع خيارات بحرية طازجة. الطاقم قدم خدمة Butler ممتازة، لكنه لم يكن متطفلاً. الـdrone shot من Castle Rock كان من أفضل اللحظات – التقط صورة جماعية نادرة. الشيء الوحيد الذي لاحظته هو أن الـair conditioning لا يمكن تعديل إعداداته بدقة – كانت درجة الحرارة ثابتة تقريباً. لكن هذا لم يزعجنا كثيراً. كل تفصيل في الرحلة كان مدروساً، من اختيار الموسيقى إلى تنسيق الزهور في الصالة.

Corporate retreat met klasse
Voor onze jaarlijkse corporate retreat kozen we de Behike Phinisi met opzet: geen vergadertafels, wel ruimte voor echte connectie. De 31 meter lange phinisi bood voldoende private space voor teamleden, terwijl de common areas ideaal waren voor informele strategiegesprekken. We begonnen op Sebayur Island, waar we de eerste avond samen kookten met de kok — een teambuilding moment dat niemand snel vergeet. Long Beach was de highlight voor mij: stil, ongerept, en perfect voor een solo walk met alleen de branding als soundtrack. De master suite gaf voldoende ruimte om werkmails te beantwoorden zonder het gevoel te hebben dat je ‘aan het werk was’. De drone shot van het eiland vanaf het flybridge was spectaculair — nu onze nieuwe company screensaver. Kleine noot: de airco in de Standard Cabin had iets krachtiger gemogen tijdens de middagpiek. Toch een ongecompliceerde manier om performance en pauze te combineren. De balance tussen structure en freedom was precies wat onze groep nodig had.

Profesyonel bir underwater photographer olarak Behike Phinisi’ni seçtim çünkü crew’un photography-friendly yaklaşımını duymuştum. Gerçekten de, dive master’lar pozisyon önerileri verdi, hatta batırdıkları reflector’ları bile getirdiler. Batu Bolong ve Taka Makassar, visibility açısından outstanding’tı. Setelah kehilangan ayah bulan lalu, I needed a quiet place to breathe. Behike Phinisi became my sanctuary. Saya sendiri, no kids, no meetings. Dua hari di Wainilu dan Sebayur rasanya seperti therapy. Snorkeling di Sebayur memberi sense of peace — ikan-ikan berenang pelan, terumbu karang masih sehat. Saya banyak duduk di bow, menulis di journal. Kabin Standard Cabin simple tapi cozy, dan linen-nya soft. Tidur malam sangat nyenyak. Cuma, tidak ada kopi espresso machine — cuma French press, which I actually grew to appreciate. Ini bukan liburan biasa. Ini healing. Dan Behike memberi space untuk itu dengan sangat elegan.
