Sovereign Verified VesselVVIP

Verified for structural integrity and 2026 maritime safety compliance by KomodoExplorer Indonesia.

About Ocean Pro Phinisi

Ocean Pro Phinisi was specified for a guest who cannot fully disconnect — the professional who needs satellite internet, a working surface, and the knowledge that a connectivity failure will not derail their ability to work — and built to provide that infrastructure without apology. Starlink Wi-Fi, SSB radio, VHF, handy talky, and satellite link form a communications stack that maintains reliable access from any anchorage in the Flores Sea, and the vessel's layout includes working spaces that function as usable offices between island stops. At 38 meters of ironwood and teak, with twin Mitsubishi-Nissan engines at fourteen knots and a professional team of eight to ten including a cruise director, Ocean Pro carries up to twenty guests in the private-charter format for guests whose definition of the ideal Komodo trip includes a reliable connection to everything they left behind. KomodoExplorer Indonesia recommends Ocean Pro Phinisi for professionals who refuse to choose between their best work and their best holiday.

Destination Highlights

Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Ocean Pro Phinisi. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.

◈

KELOR ISLAND

Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.

◈

MANJERITE

Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.

◈

PADAR ISLAND

Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."

◈

PINK BEACH

One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.

◈

KOMODO ISLAND

Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom

◈

TAKA MAKASSAR

A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.

◈

MANTA POINT

A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.

◈

GILI LAWA

Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.

◈

SLABA ISLAND

Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.

◈

SEBAYUR ISLAND

Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.

◈

KANAWA ISLAND

While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.

◈

SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)

Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.

◈

BIDADARI ISLAND

Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Escape dari Jakarta yang Berkelas

Ocean Pro Phinisi jadi sanctuary dari hustle kota. Saya booking last minute untuk 5 hari dengan small group — 6 orang, mostly from college days. We wanted zero agenda, just ocean and good conversation. Gili Lawa Darwin jadi spot favorit: sunrise hike ke atas bukit, then jump straight to the blue. The yacht’s layout allows both togetherness dan personal space — I spent one afternoon reading on the upper deck, zero disturbance. Kanawa Island juga worth the stop, especially the shallow lagoon. Makanan mostly Indonesian dengan twist — grilled squid with yuzu kosho, that was unexpected. Minor thing: AC di kabin 104 agak berisik, tapi diganti cepat. WiFi tidak stabil, tapi honestly, we barely missed it. This is slow luxury at its finest — no rush, no pretense.

5 gece yerine 6 gece olabilseydi, hiç inmek istemezdik.

Friends Getaway di Tengah Laut

Setelah 3 tahun post-pandemic baru bisa reunian, we picked Ocean Pro Phinisi karena reputasinya solid. 10 of us, all in our late 30s, but energy-nya kayak ABG. Stay di Kanawa Island itu highlight — pasir putihnya seperti powder, dan the bioluminescence at night? Magical banget. We didn’t want to return.

Saya datang sendiri, bagian dari self-retreat setelah burnout. Ocean Pro Phinisi surprisingly therapeutic. The staff noticed I was quiet and never forced interaction — instead, they offered a private yoga session at Bidadari Beach at dawn. That moment, listening to waves and my breath, was healing. The cabin’s design uses natural wood and soft linen, sangat soothing. We anchored at Taka Makassar dua kali — second time at night, bioluminescence everywhere. Saya kayak dalam dream. Snorkeling di Sebayur Island juga calming, banyak manta passing by. Food is healthy, portion-controlled, with herbal teas available anytime. One suggestion: lebih banyak silent activity options, kayak journaling kit or meditation playlist. Tapi overall, this journey restored my energy. Not just a trip — a reset.
