KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

For our 10th anniversary, we wanted something timeless—Princess Nabila Phinisi delivered beyond expectation. The moment we stepped on board, everything felt curated: the teak wood, the crisp linens, the quiet professionalism of the crew. We spent a full day snorkeling at Crystal Rock, where the current was strong but the visibility? Absolutely insane. Schools of fusiliers, white tip reef sharks, even a manta that circled us for minutes. That evening, they set up a private dinner on deck with candlelight and jazz playlist—my wife nearly cried. At Rinca Island, we saw komodo dragons up close, but the real magic was the silence after sunset, just the two of us under the stars. The only downside: limited charging ports in the suite. But honestly, it’s a small trade-off for true digital detox. The chef also accommodated my gluten intolerance without making me feel like a hassle. This wasn’t just a trip—it was a celebration of us, in the most serene setting possible.

Needed a reset after a tough year. From Mamuju, I booked a solo trip on Princess Nabila Phinisi — best decision ever. The solitude at Gili Lawa was transformative. I meditated on the bow, swam with mantas at Manta Point, and just… breathed. The crew was kind but never pushy. My cabin felt like a sanctuary — soft linens, quiet AC, ocean breeze. They even brought me tea without asking. One small thing: more book options in Bahasa. But that’s it. This journey wasn’t just a vacation — it was therapy. If you need to reconnect with yourself, sail here.

Babymoon di Princess Nabila Phinisi ternyata exactly what we needed—quiet, intimate, and surrounded by nature’s elegance. We anchored at Sebayur Island where the water is so clear you can see baby reef sharks gliding under the hull. The crew anticipated every need, from extra pillows to late-night herbal tea. Our cabin was spacious with a king-size bed facing the sea, and the sound of waves lulled us to sleep every night. One morning, we had breakfast at Bidadari Beach—private, no one else around, just us and the sunrise. The Indonesian breakfast with telur dadar and kopi tubruk felt so authentic, yet the presentation was Michelin-level. Wifi was spotty, tapi honestly? That forced us to disconnect properly. If you’re expecting 5G speed, maybe not. But if you want to reconnect with your partner and the bayi in your belly, this is it. The staff even arranged a gentle massage for me on deck, fully pregnancy-safe. Would’ve loved one more day—three nights felt like a teaser. But overall, such a graceful way to ease into parenthood.
