Als Fotograf suchte ich ein Schiff, das Flexibilität und Komfort verbindet – die Alfatran Phinisi Bajo war genau das. Die Crew passte das itinerar leicht an, sodass wir bei Manta Point länger blieben, um optimale Unterwasseraufnahmen zu machen. Später dann ein drone shot von Gili Lawa bei golden hour – atemberaubend. Das Schiff selbst ist 2018 gebaut, aber die Holzverarbeitung wirkt wie aus einer anderen Ära – warm, lebendig. Meine Kabine war eine Standard Cabin, dennoch mit ausreichend Platz für Ausrüstung und persönlichem Gepäck. Der Koch servierte jeden Tag frische Smoothies mit lokalen Früchten – ein kleines, aber feines Detail. Lediglich die Snacks am Nachmittag waren etwas repetitiv. Doch das ist marginal bei einer so gelungenen Erfahrung. Die Alfatran Phinisi Bajo ist kein Hotel auf Wasser – sie ist ein Segelerlebnis mit klarem Charakter.

Từ Hải Phòng, tôi bay vào Labuan Bajo chỉ để tìm một nơi thật yên. Alfatran Phinisi Bajo không làm tôi thất vọng. Là một solo traveler, tôi được xếp cabin gần cuối boat — rất ít tiếng ồn. Itinerary gồm Padar Island và Rinca Island. Leo Padar lúc 6h sáng là thử thách, nhưng toàn cảnh vịnh từ trên cao khiến mọi mệt mỏi tan biến. Rinca thì thú vị với đàn komodo — guide rất am hiểu, giữ khoảng cách an toàn nhưng vẫn cho shot đẹp. Tôi thích cách họ tổ chức bữa trưa picnic trên đảo — hộp gỗ đựng food rất aesthetic. Trên boat, không gian common area rộng, có sách du lịch và board games. Tôi đọc xong một cuốn trong 4 ngày. Có điều, chiều thứ ba, máy phát điện bị lỗi 20 phút — không ảnh hưởng nhiều, nhưng làm mất wifi. Dù vậy, captain giải thích rõ ràng và xin lỗi ngay. Điều đó cho thấy professionalism. Tôi ấn tượng với thái độ crew: không nịnh bợ, nhưng luôn có mặt khi cần. Một điểm nhỏ: tôi hy vọng có thêm lựa chọn trà thảo mộc vào buổi tối. Nhưng nhìn chung, đây là escape hoàn hảo.

Die Alfatran Phinisi Bajo beeindruckt durch ihre klare Architektur – kein überladenes Design, sondern reduzierte Eleganz. Als Architekt schätze ich die Proportionen: das Verhältnis von Holz, Stahl und Leinen ist perfekt austariert. Unser Stop bei Castle Rock war visuell beeindruckend – die Felsformationen ragen wie Burgen aus dem Wasser. Von dort aus unternahmen wir eine kleine Kajaktour, organisiert durch die Crew. Die Standard Cabin ist funktional, mit durchdachten Details wie USB-Ladestationen und einem kleinen Ventilator mit mehreren Stufen. Abends wurde das Oberdeck zum Dinner-Raum mit weißer Tischwäsche und Kerzenlicht – das Menü mit frischem Lombok-Curry war ein Genuss. Einzig die Matratze war etwas zu weich für meinen Geschmack. Aber das ist subjektiv. Die Alfatran Phinisi Bajo ist ein Boot für Ästheten – die Lichtführung abends, die Art wie das Boot im Wind liegt, alles wirkt durchdacht. Unser Tag in Rinca war ruhig, fast spirituell. Kein Massentourismus, nur Natur.

Unsere Hochzeitsreise führte uns zur Alfatran Phinisi Bajo – und ich muss sagen: der Name steht für mehr als nur ein Boot. Es ist ein Lebensgefühl. Die ersten beiden Nächte verbrachten wir bei Nusa Kode, wo wir im Wasser standen, während die Sonne hinter den Felsen verschwand. Die Master Suite war dekoriert mit lokalen Blüten – ein kleiner, aber tief berührender Gruß der Crew. Frühstück gab es immer nach unserem Rhythmus, niemals gestresst. Bei Bidadari Beach machten wir einen kurzen Kayak-Trip – ruhig, klar, fast meditativ. Was mich beeindruckte: die Details. Die Bademäntel sind aus recyceltem Material, die Shampoos in Keramikflakons. Kein Plastik. Einzig die Abendmenüs waren etwas repetitiv – aber immer frisch zubereitet. Die Crew merkte das und passte am letzten Tag die Karte an. Die drone shots vom Boot bei Sonnenuntergang? Pure Magie. Dies war keine Reise mit vielen Stopps, sondern eine mit Tiefgang.

Bersama 4 teman diver dari Medan, kami mencari phinisi yang balance antara adventure dan comfort. Alfatran Phinisi Bajo adalah jawabannya. Diving di Crystal Rock dan Loh Liang sangat rewarding—saya melihat manta ray di kedalaman 18 meter. Boat ini memiliki dive deck yang luas dan compressor yang berfungsi baik. Kabin cukup besar untuk menyimpan BCD dan tank. Makanan konsisten enak, dengan porsi yang memadai untuk diver. Crew sangat supportive—ada yang bahkan ikut brief teknik decompression stop. Satu hal: saat transit malam hari, AC sempat mati selama 20 menit, tapi mereka cepat tanggap. Pelayanan tetap profesional meski ada kendala kecil. Kami berharap ada lebih banyak waktu di Manjarite—beach-nya sangat photogenic. Tapi overall, the dive logistics were flawless.

O Alfatran Phinisi Bajo superou minhas expectativas como mãe viajando com dois filhos adolescentes. A Master Suite era espaçosa o suficiente para manter privacidade, e as camas extras no Standard Cabin acomodaram bem os meninos. O itinerário incluiu Taka Makassar, onde fizemos snorkeling entre cardumes coloridos, e depois ancoramos perto de Long Beach, onde os guias organizaram uma trilha leve para os kids. A equipe foi discreta, mas atenciosa — especialmente no café da manhã, com frutas tropicais frescas todos os dias. A única ressalva: o sinal de wifi foi um pouco fraco, mas, sinceramente, era até bom desligar um pouco. O sunset no deck com drinques artesanais foi um dos momentos mais perfeitos da viagem. 결혼 7주년을 맞아 Alfatran Phinisi Bajo에서 조용한 celebration을 했어요. 3박 4일 일정이 짧게 느껴질 정도로 모든 순간이 여유로웠고, Padar Island에서의 하이킹은 약간 힘들었지만 정상에서 보는 view는 그 모든 effort를 보상해줬어요. 스태프가 준비해준 피크닉 박스와 아이스 드링크는 완벽한 timing이었고, 사진사가 따로 동행해서 professional한 drone shot도 남겼어요. Master Suite의 욕조는 hot water supply가 약간 느렸지만, 그 덕분에 더 천천히 몸을 녹일 수 있었어요. 식사 중 가장 인상 깊었던 건 Wainilu 근해에서의 저녁, 해산물 그릴이 정말 신선했고, 와인 페어링도 훌륭했어요. 다만, 마지막 날 조기 체크아웃이라 아침이 간소화된 점은 아쉬웠어요. 그래도 overall로는 우리 부부에게 가장 기억에 남는 anniversary trip이었어요.

Ik ben gewend aan luxe, maar wat mij raakt is betrouwbaarheid. De Alfatran Phinisi Bajo voelt solide — van de houtsoort tot de manier waarop de crew reageert op veranderingen in het weer. We waren met de familie (kinderen 8 en 10) en stopten bij Manta Point en Nusa Kode. Bij Nusa Kode konden de kinderen onbezorgd spelen op het strand, terwijl wij in de schaduw lagen. De chef maakte speciale smoothies voor de jongsten, en de guide liet ze sporen van vogels volgen. De standard cabin is ruim genoeg, al zou een extra oplaadpunt handig zijn. Maar dat is techniek. Wat telt: we voelden ons veilig, verzorgd, en ver weg van alles. De drone shot van ons gezin op het achterdek is nu de achtergrond van mijn telefoon. Vijf dagen, maar het voelde als een kleine levenswijziging. Komodo is wild, en deze boot laat je dat voelen — zonder ongemak.
