About Cajoma V Phinisi

Cajoma V Phinisi is an exceptional 32-meter solar-hybrid luxury vessel built in 2018, meticulously designed to offer a sustainable yet extravagant voyage through the Indonesian archipelagos. Distinguishing itself as one of the few solar-equipped phinisis in Komodo, it balances cutting-edge water-making technology capable of 10,000L daily production with state-of-the-art Starlink connectivity. Accommodating up to 20 guests in 7 artisanal ensuite cabins, the boat is a flagship for large-scale diving and family expeditions, featuring dual Bauer Poseidon compressors and a dedicated crew of 12. With its open-concept gourmet kitchen, multiple panoramic lounges, and heavy-duty dual Mitsubishi engines, Cajoma V provides an industry-leading liveaboard experience for those who demand ethical luxury and uncompromised comfort. The solar hybrid system runs deck lighting and auxiliary power silently through the night, meaning anchorages feel as peaceful as the reef below. Destination Highlights

Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Cajoma V Phinisi. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.

◈

KELOR ISLAND

Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.

◈

MANJERITE

Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.

◈

PADAR ISLAND

Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."

◈

PINK BEACH

One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.

◈

KOMODO ISLAND

Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom

◈

TAKA MAKASSAR

A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.

◈

MANTA POINT

A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.

◈

GILI LAWA

Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.

◈

SLABA ISLAND

Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.

◈

SEBAYUR ISLAND

Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.

◈

KANAWA ISLAND

While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.

◈

SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)

Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.

◈

BIDADARI ISLAND

Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about. #kanawaisland #reef #pristine #snorkel

A Corporate Reset Among Dragons

We chartered Cajoma V Phinisi for a five-day leadership retreat, and it achieved what no Swiss alpine lodge ever has: genuine disconnection with purpose. The boat handled our group of twelve seamlessly—spacious common decks allowed for morning briefings, while the lower lounge became our strategy den. A morning hike on Komodo Island, timed to avoid the midday heat, was both humbling and invigorating. Watching the dragons move like ancient sentinels through dry savannah, then returning to a chilled Riesling on deck—it recalibrated our pace. Kanawa Island offered a perfect afternoon for team snorkeling; the coral gardens there are still vivid in my mind. The only friction? Limited bandwidth for late-night emails—intentional, perhaps, but a slight challenge for one colleague. Still, the crew’s discretion and quiet professionalism made it easy to let go. Meals were Indonesian-inspired but restrained—no overwhelm, just balance. This wasn’t team-building; it was re-souling.

Babymoon Done Right

At seven months pregnant, I needed serenity—Cajoma V Phinisi delivered. The boat’s gentle rocking became a lullaby. We booked the Master Suite for extra space, and the crew quietly provided extra cushions and fruit infusions. Snorkeling at Manta Point was surreal; gliding alongside those gentle giants, I felt weightless. The staff adjusted menus for my dietary shifts without fuss—steamed coral trout with ginger and lemongrass became a staple. One afternoon, anchored off Long Beach, my partner and I kayaked the cove while the team held a quiet spot for us back onboard. The only hiccup: the afternoon breeze didn’t always catch the sails, so the engine ran longer than poetic. Still, the balance of privacy and attentive service made this more than a trip—it was sanctuary.

Cajoma V Phinisi

Estetik ve Fonksiyon Dengesi

Cajoma V Phinisi’nde 4 gün geçirdim, mimari detaylara hayran kaldım. 2017 yapımı olmasına rağmen, wood finish’leri hâlâ showroom gibi. Master Suite’in teak zemini, deniz tuzuna rağmen leke yapmamış. Padar Island’a gün batımında çıktık, crew tam zamanında champagne servisi yaptı. Drone shot ile çekilen fotoğraflar, yatta life’ın estetiğini mükemmel yansıttı.

Komodo
