Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Majik Cruise. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Taking my parents and two teenage kids on the Majik Cruise for my father’s 70th felt like a gamble—luxury yachts aren’t always family terrain. But from the moment we stepped aboard in Labuan Bajo, the crew made it clear: this was designed for moments like ours. The yacht is spacious without feeling cavernous—common areas flow naturally, and the kids had their own corner on the upper deck for cards and music. We spent a full morning hiking Padar Island, the views from the top stretching across three seas, then cooled off at Manjarite’s crescent bay, where the shallows allowed the younger ones to snorkel freely. The highlight was Rinca Island—seeing komodos in the wild, guided by the yacht’s naturalist, who had a knack for reading both terrain and teenage attention spans. Meals were a blend of Indonesian flavours and continental ease—my mother raved about the banana pancakes at sunrise. My only mild critique? The air con in our suite cycled off too early in the morning, though I suppose that’s Komodo for you. What stood out was how the Majik Cruise managed to feel both exclusive and warm—a rare trick. We didn’t just see the park; we lived in rhythm with it.

Choosing Majik Cruise for our honeymoon was one of the best decisions. The intimacy of only 4 cabins made it feel like a private charter, even though we shared with two other couples. Gili Lawa darat was our favorite stop — sunrise hike there gives you that iconic Komodo panorama, and the view from the top? Absolutely cinematic. Our suite had floor-to-ceiling windows, and waking up to the sunrise over Sebayur Island was pure magic. The chef customized our breakfast every day — waffles with local honey, banana pancakes, even tempeh scramble upon request. Snorkeling di Taka Makassar, we saw reef sharks and clownfish dancing in the coral. Crew was attentive without being intrusive; they even arranged a surprise champagne toast on the bow. Maybe extend the itinerary to include Kelor Island next time? But honestly, we didn’t want to leave this floating sanctuary.

그래도 overall로는 정말 well-planned itinerary였고, crew의 attention to detail이 눈에 띄었어요.

As a photography expedition leader, I demand precision—light, access, and logistical ease. Majik Cruise delivered beyond expectation. The yacht’s early arrival at Crystal Rock allowed us golden hour in still waters, capturing reef sharks and kaleidoscopic coral without a single boat in sight. The crew even adjusted the schedule discreetly to accommodate shifting tides. At Pink Beach, the natural hues were amplified by the quiet elegance of the experience—no crowds, just pristine nature. The cabin’s blackout curtains and soundproofing ensured rest after long shoots, and the onboard espresso machine? A small luxury with enormous impact. One suggestion: adding a shaded photography prep station on the upper deck would elevate utility. Still, the balance of adventure and refinement was impeccable. Majik Cruise understands that true luxury is seamless.

Sailing Majik Cruise felt like being in the hands of quiet professionals. The 42-meter phinisi handled the straits between Rinca Island and Castle Rock with ease—no lurching, just steady glide. We anchored at Manjarite for a full day: morning snorkel over vibrant hard coral, then a beach picnic with local fruit and chilled Sémillon. The yacht’s design is understated—light oak, neutral linen, lighting that never feels harsh. As a honeymoon, it was ideal: private but never isolated. The only critique? The Wi-Fi faded past Long Beach, but we’d packed books and ended up talking for hours instead. In hindsight, a gift.

My 60th birthday demanded adventure, and Majik Cruise delivered with grace. Hiking Padar Island at dawn—challenging, yes, but the panoramic payoff was worth every step. The crew waited below with cold towels and fresh papaya juice, a gesture of profound care. Later, we anchored at Bidadari Beach, where I swam in turquoise silence, feeling both small and significant. The yacht’s minimalist luxury—organic cotton linens, hand-carved furniture, a library of well-chosen books—spoke to refined taste. Dinner on deck, under a million stars, felt sacred. My only critique: the stairs between decks are steep for those with mobility concerns. But for me, it was exhilarating. Majik Cruise reminded me that age doesn’t dull wonder—it deepens it.
