Ik wist niet dat een trip naar Komodo National Park zo perfect kon zijn – tot we aan boord stapten van de Nk Jaya Phinisi. Wat een verschil maakt een échte vip phinisi met ruime cabins en een warm, professioneel crew. Onze familie met twee jonge kinderen voelde zich meteen thuis, vooral in de master suite aan bakboord met zijn extra ruimte en zachte lakens – een detail dat telt na een volle dag snorkelen.
We begonnen op Pink Beach, waar de combinatie van zacht rood zand en turquoise water een must is voor elke drone shot. De kinderen waren gefascineerd door de kleine kwallen (geen gevaarlijke box jellyfish, gelukkig), en de crew had alvast fruit en handdoeken paraat. De volgende dag op Manta Point was magisch – we zagen minstens tien mantas glijden voorbij als schaduwen in het diepe blauw. De dive master organiseerde alles soepel voor onze groep, inclusief extra tanks en een chill-out corner op het achterdek.
Het enige kleine minpunt: de airco in de middag was iets onregelmatig in één gastencabine, maar de kapitein bood direct een ruil aan – top service. Het 4-daagse itinerary was perfect samengesteld, met genoeg rustmomenten tussen de activiteiten. Voor onze 25-jarige relatiejubileum kon het bijna niet mooier. Een ervaring die we niet snel zullen vergeten.

Como fotógrafa de natureza, precisava de um itinerário que permitisse acessar pontos como Crystal Rock e Pink Beach com tranquilidade, e o barco entregou perfeitamente. O deck principal virou meu estúdio ao amanhecer, com espaço ideal para organizar equipamentos e até editar algumas fotos com o sinal de satélite. A master suite é extremamente bem projetada, com madeira escura e ventilação natural que mantém o clima agradável, mesmo no calor de Komodo. A única coisa que faltou? Talvez um carregador USB-C extra na cabine, mas nada que tenha atrapalhado. A tripulação é discreta, porém extremamente atenciosa — especialmente o capitão, que ajustou o itinerário para garantir um *drone shot* perfeito no pôr do sol de Gili Lawa. Viajar com o Nk Jaya foi como ter um hotel boutique flutuante com alma de expedição. Recomendo sem pensar duas vezes para quem busca conforto e autenticidade ao mesmo tempo.

Nk Jaya Phinisi의 디자인은 전통적인 phinisi의 정신을 지키면서도 현대적인 편안함을 완벽히 조화시켰고, 특히 Bidadari Beach에서의 스노클링은 물속의 낙원 같았다. 드론 샷으로 남긴 영상은 평생 보물이 될 거다. 다음엔 dive group으로 다시 올 계획.

Sebagai bagian dari dive group dari Jakarta, kami pilih Nk Jaya Phinisi karena reputasinya yang solid. Dan memang tidak mengecewakan. Dive sites seperti Crystal Rock dan sekitar Gili Lawa menawarkan current yang bagus dan visibility di atas 20 meter. Boat-nya stabil, dengan dive deck yang well-organized dan rinse tank yang cukup besar. Guide diving-nya experienced, sangat aware dengan safety dan marine life. Kabin bersih, AC kencang, dan charging point di setiap bunk — penting buat kita yang bawa banyak gear. Makanan? Ternyata enak banget, padahal biasanya di boat makanan jadi afterthought. Satu improvement: lebih banyak dive schedule di deep reef, tapi overall sangat satisfied. Nk Jaya Phinisi is a serious choice for serious divers, tapi tetap nyaman secara luxury.

Ini pertama kalinya aku naik phinisi kelas VIP, dan wow—Nk Jaya langsung jadi benchmark. Dari awal, semua terasa seamless: boarding process cepat, welcome drink adem, kabin spacious. Bidadari Beach itu seperti postcard hidup, dan crew bawa kita langsung ke spot terbaik. Aku datang buat honeymoon, tapi pulang bawa memories for life. Yang bikin special: mereka celebrate our anniversary dengan small cake and local music. Cuma sedikit note: linen agak kusut karena dryer kurang panas. But still, the warmth of the team? Unbeatable.
