The Master Suite’s ensuite bathroom, with its rain shower and teak bench, was a small luxury. Days unfolded between Bidadari Beach and Taka Makassar—snorkeling in glassy water, napping in hammocks strung on deck. The crew prepared a private lunch at Bidadari: grilled prawns, mango salad, a chilled rosé. One morning, we woke to find the boat anchored off an unnamed cove—the captain had spotted clear water and adjusted course. That spontaneity, within a framework of safety and care, defined the trip. The only note: the cabin lighting could be softer at night. But that’s minor. This wasn’t an experience. It was a state of being.

Di Sebayur Island, we did a night dive and saw octopus hunting — such a rare moment. The dive guide was incredibly knowledgeable, even pointed out nudibranch species by name.
