Diving Beyond Expectations
Joining a dive expedition with Arfisyana Indah Phinisi was one of my best decisions this year. As an advanced diver, I appreciate when boat operations run like clockwork. Di Batu Bolong, the drift dive was exhilarating — strong current, but captain positioned the boat perfectly for pickup. Full gear rental available, and everything was well-maintained. Di Sebayur Island, we did a night dive and saw octopus hunting — such a rare moment. The dive guide was incredibly knowledgeable, even pointed out nudibranch species by name. Kabin standar cukup untuk me, tapi shower drain agak mampet — minor issue. Makanan sangat variatif, dari rendang sampai pasta. Crew selalu siapkan hot chocolate after night dive. Arfisyana Indah Phinisi balances adventure dengan comfort. We covered five sites in six days, all with excellent visibility. Truly a diver’s paradise on water.

Di Batu Bolong, team-building jadi natural karena semua orang terlibat dalam snorkeling dan diving session. The common deck luas banget, perfect untuk morning briefing sambil minum kopi. Standard Cabin cukup nyaman, meski AC agak berisik malam hari — tapi manageable. What stood out? The balance between structure dan freedom. Ada schedule, tapi tetap ada waktu personal. Di Kanawa Island, kita semua terpana melihat pasir pink-nya — such a surreal palette. Captain sangat experienced, selalu pilih spot dengan current yang aman untuk diver dan beginner. Catering bisa customize untuk dietary needs, which was clutch for two of us on keto. Would come back for longer, maybe 8 days.

Sebayurの静けさに包まれて
Arfisyana Indah Phinisiでの滞在は、まさに心のreset button。Sebayur Islandの周囲は人が少なく、透明度がハンパない。シュノーケルで泳いでいると、ウミガメと並んで泳ぐことができた。船内の静けさも素晴らしく、読書と昼寝の時間を贅沢に使えました。Nusa Kodeでのビーチウォークは、潮だまりの生物観察が楽しく、ガイドの知識が深い。Master Suiteのダブルベッドは寝心地抜群。ただ、枕が少し高めで、慣れに時間がかかった。でも、クルーがすぐに低めの枕に交換してくれた。朝食のアボカドトーストに、新鮮なパパイヤが添えられていて、毎日楽しみだった。

40번째 생일을 기념해 Arfisyana Indah Phinisi에서 특별한 day cruise를 요청했다. crew가 아주 섬세하게 준비해 줬다 — 객실에 hand-written card와 local flower arrangement가 놓여 있었고, Kalong Island 근처에서 정박하며 champagne toast를 올렸다. drone shot으로 찍은 영상은 나중에 가족에게 보여주기로 했다. 보트의 디자인은 전통적인 phinisi의 정신을 담으면서도 interior는 모던한 럭셔리. 특히 open deck에서의 sunset yoga는 내게 unexpected healing moment였다. 단, 와이파이가 약해서 생일 축하 메시지를 바로 답장하지 못한 건 아쉬웠다. 그래도, 그 덕분에 온전히 present에 집중할 수 있었다. Kalong Island에서 밤새 수천 마리의 박쥐가 날아오르는 장면은 자연의 위대함을 느끼게 했다. 나만을 위한 time capsule 같은 experience.

Como mergulhador experiente, exijo padrões elevados — e o Arfisyana Indah Phinisi atendeu. O dive group era coeso, com briefing claros em inglês técnico. O itinerário focou em Komodo Island e Kanawa Island, com visibilidade de até 25 metros. A equipe de mergulho organizou os cilindros com antecedência, evitando filas no deck. O barco tem um sistema de recarga próprio, o que é raro. A Standard Cabin é funcional, mas o som do motor pode incomodar levemente à noite. Recomendo trazer tampões. O almoço pós-mergulho, com salada de manga e peixe grelhado, era perfeito. O capitão ajustou a rota para um sítio de naufrágio não incluso originalmente — um gesto que mostrou flexibilidade. Uma experiência técnica e emocionalmente rica. Só lamento não ter mais um dia para explorar os recifes profundos.

The Komodo landscape demands respect—rugged, elemental. The Arfisyana Indah Phinisi met that energy with quiet precision. We sailed during monsoon shoulder season, and the crew navigated tides with confidence. Our days unfolded between Manta Point and Padar Island—snorkelling in currents that felt alive, then hiking the latter’s ridge as dawn broke. The Master Suite’s king bed faced sliding glass doors; waking to open water was a kind of meditation. The galley served delicate interpretations of Indonesian flavors—turmeric-marinated prawns, jackfruit rendang. One afternoon, a sudden squall delayed our return to Bidadari Beach, but the captain handled it calmly, rerouting to a sheltered cove. The boat's age (2018) shows in well-maintained fittings, not wear. I’d return in a heartbeat—though perhaps with an extra day to spare.

Integro um dive group do Rio que busca destinos técnicos com conforto. O Arfisyana Indah Phinisi entrega isso com elegância. Em Crystal Rock, enfrentamos correntes fortes, mas a equipe de suporte com botes e oxigênio estava sempre atenta. A logística de armazenamento dos tanks foi impecável — tudo organizado no deck traseiro. A cabine que ocupei, Standard Cabin, tem bom espaço para equipamentos e tomadas USB. Em Taka Makassar, o coral estava vibrante, quase neon. O único ponto: o briefing em inglês foi rápido demais para alguns do grupo. Talvez no futuro incluam uma versão em português. Apesar disso, o nível técnico do staff de mergulho é world-class. Já reservei para o próximo ano — queremos explorar zonas mais profundas perto de Komodo Island.

Grace and Serenity on the Water
Sailing the Arfisyana Indah Phinisi during our anniversary was less of a trip and more of a recalibration. The boat moves through the water like it was designed to listen to the sea. We anchored at Bidadari Beach in the late afternoon, the light turning the sand into something almost unreal. The crew had laid out a private dinner on the bow—grilled reef fish, local herbs, a crisp Sancerre. The Master Suite’s teak finishes and quiet ventilation made for deep, uninterrupted sleep. What stood out was the ease with which everything unfolded—no forced activities, just invitations. We spent one morning snorkeling at Manta Point, drifting alongside three of them, silent and enormous. The only quibble: the Wi-Fi was spotty, but honestly, that felt like a feature, not a flaw. Komodo’s scale humbles you, and this vessel lets you meet it on graceful terms.
