There’s a particular magic in waking up alone at Taka Makassar, the sandbar stretching like a ribbon across the sea, accessible only by small craft like the Ocean Quin Speed Boat. This vessel’s size was its strength—nimbler than larger yachts, it slipped into secluded coves with ease. We spent hours photographing reef sharks at Batu Bolong, the visibility pristine. The single cabin, though compact, was a study in elegant minimalism: neutral tones, ambient lighting, and a bed that faced sliding glass doors opening to the aft deck. For a solo traveler or couple, it’s perfection. The only limitation? Limited storage for extended kit—manageable, but worth noting. The crew, however, more than compensated with warmth and precision. This journey redefined luxury as stillness, space, and silence.

I prefer understated luxury, and Ocean Quin Speed Boat nails it. No over-the-top decor, just clean wood, white linen, and seamless service. We anchored near Komodo Island, and after hiking, jumping into clear water from the back deck was pure bliss. Snorkeling di Taka Makassar revealed schools of blue tangs — so dense, like a living carpet. Crew anticipates needs: cold towel before I even asked. Kabinnya intimate, en suite bathroom modern, and blackout curtains? Perfect for late sleepers. Satu catatan: more USB ports would help, tapi overall comfort is excellent. Dive trip yang flawless!
As a seasoned diver, I’m picky about boats, and Ocean Quin Speed Boat impressed me. We dived at Castle Rock — strong currents, but captain positioned perfectly. Dive master knew every coral cluster and critter spot. The boat’s dive deck is compact tapi super efficient, with rinse tanks and gear storage yang organized. After dive, fresh towels and ginger tea waiting — small touches that matter. We also stopped at Gili Lawa for sunset hike, view dari atas bukit? Absolutely mind-blowing. Kabinnya bersih, queen bed nyaman, dan AC works well. Only wish: lebih banyak dive sites in itinerary, tapi overall trip was smooth, safe, and incredibly rewarding. This phinisi gets divers’ needs.

O master suite, apesar do tamanho compacto da embarcação (15m), foi pensado com elegância: lençóis premium, aromaterapia noturna e um café da manhã servido diretamente na varanda privativa com vista para Kanawa Island. Navegar entre Batu Bolong e Manta Point foi cinematográfico — meu noivo até usou seu drone para capturar um drone shot épico dos recifes. O capitão ajustou o itinerary com flexibilidade, algo raro em iates classe standard. Única observação: o chuveiro no banheiro poderia ter mais pressão, mas nada que tirasse o brilho do experience. Perfeito para casais que querem conforto sem ostentação. Como fotógrafa de viagem, valorizei os ângulos únicos que o barco permitiu — especialmente ao amanhecer em Long Beach. Definitivamente voltaremos para uma expedição focada em Crystal Rock.

Lần đầu tiên thử một cruise phinisi sang trọng như Ocean Quin Speed Boat, mình thật sự ấn tượng với sự cân bằng giữa nét truyền thống và tiện nghi hiện đại. Là một người đi wellness retreat, mình cần không gian yên tĩnh để reset – và hành trình 4 ngày từ Labuan Bajo đã đáp ứng đúng nhu cầu. Chúng tôi dừng chân tại Manta Point vào buổi sáng, khi ánh nắng vừa chạm mặt nước, và cảm giác ngâm mình trong làn nước trong vắt, ngắm những chiếc mantas trôi nhẹ như dải lụa – thật sự là một ‘moment’ không thể quên. Chiều hôm sau, ghé Kanawa Island, cát trắng mịn như bột, nước xanh ngọc bích – mình tranh thủ vài drone shot cho bộ hình cá nhân, rất aesthetic. Cabin duy nhất trên tàu được thiết kế như một master suite nhỏ, đủ riêng tư cho một solo traveler như mình. Crew rất tinh tế, phục vụ smooth nhưng không làm phiền. Mình chỉ mong wifi ổn định hơn một chút – ở giữa biển thì hiểu được, nhưng nếu cải thiện được thì sẽ hoàn hảo hơn cho những ai cần stay connected nhẹ. Itinerary được sắp xếp hợp lý, không quá packed, có thời gian thiền buổi sáng trên boong trước – điều mình rất trân trọng. Ocean Quin Speed Boat không phải là siêu du thuyền, nhưng với class phinisi tiêu chuẩn, họ làm rất tốt việc tạo ra một experience thanh lịch, nhẹ nhàng và sâu sắc.

Snorkeling di Rinca Island sangat vibrant—coral masih healthy, dan fish diversity impressive. Kalau mau lebih lama explore, mungkin perlu extend trip. Tapi untuk 4 hari, ini balance antara adventure dan inner peace yang perfect.
