Sebagai bagian dari dive group dari Bandung, kami cukup picky soal liveaboard conditions. Athira Phinisi surprised us—kami expecting typical phinisi dengan sedikit rough edges, tapi fasilitasnya jauh lebih modern. Dive deck sangat well-organized, with dedicated rinse tanks and camera station. We did two dives at Wainilu, current-nya strong tapi rewarding—saw schooling barracudas and a manta passing by. The Standard Cabin I stayed in was clean, AC consistent, and bathroom water pressure solid. Crew sangat respectful terhadap jadwal diving, never rushed us. Only minor note: breakfast menu agak repetitive after day three—would’ve loved more local options like jagung rebus or ikan bakar. Tapi overall, this boat strikes the right balance between adventure and comfort. Athira Phinisi managed to feel exclusive without being stiff.
Honeymoon yang Intimate dan Serene
Kami memilih Athira Phinisi karena reputasinya yang low-key tapi luxurious. Dengan hanya 7 cabin, rasanya seperti private charter. Kami spend dua malam di sekitar Wainilu dan Long Beach — lokasi yang sepi dan pristine. Di Wainilu, kami snorkeling berdua sambil lihat coral garden, lalu makan siang dengan cold rosé di deck. Malamnya, crew setup romantic dinner di atas kapal dengan curtain dari kain putih dan music jazz pelan. Master Suite kami memiliki bathtub outdoor — we bathed under the stars, which was unforgettable. AC-nya powerful dan sunbed di deck sangat comfy. Hanya satu wish: lebih lama di Kalong Island untuk melihat lebih banyak wildlife. But overall, every detail was curated with care.

Anak-anak Senang, Orang Tua Tenang
Keluarga kami dengan 3 anak (6, 9, 12 tahun) naik Athira Phinisi selama 5 hari. Pertama kali saya lihat anak-anak tidak pegang gadget seharian — they were too busy exploring. Di Kalong Island, mereka excited banget lihat kelelawar besar terbang. Di Padar, mereka didorong pelan-pelan naik ke viewpoint, dan sense of accomplishment mereka priceless. Kabin family kami connecting, jadi tetap privasi terjaga. Food variety cukup bagus, tapi anak bungsu kurang suka seafood. Maybe bisa ada lebih banyak western options. Snorkeling gear size for kids juga terbatas — harus gantian. Tapi crew sangat membantu, bahkan bikin treasure hunt di deck. Athira Phinisi managed to balance fun dan safety, which as a parent, I deeply appreciate.
