Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Aimar Phinisi. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Wnuki były zachwycone mantaami – nie musieliśmy nawet nurkować, by je obserwować.

Our executive team needed a reset, dan Aimar Phinisi delivered elegance with purpose. We used the upper deck for brainstorming sessions — the breeze dan view dari Gili Lawa membuat meeting terasa lebih creative. The team loved the mix of activities: morning kayak at Bidadari Beach, afternoon at Pink Beach untuk social media content. All cabins were clean dan well-maintained, meskipun cabin 5 terasa sedikit lebih panas — mungkin karena posisi matahari. The chef customized menus for our vegan dan gluten-free members without compromising flavor. One evening, we anchored near Nusa Kode dan did a sunset cocktail cruise — mood-nya perfect untuk networking. Captain even shared stories tentang sejarah phinisi yang enriching banget. Sudah recommend ke beberapa rekan dari industry lain — this is premium without being pretentious.

As a marine biologist, I’m wary of ‘eco-luxury’ claims. But Aimar Phinisi walks the line with integrity. Their waste protocols are strict, and the crew spoke knowledgeably about reef conservation. We spent a full morning snorkeling Batu Bolong’s slope—healthy coral, diverse fish, no signs of bleaching. The yacht’s electric tenders were quiet, not scaring marine life. Our family (two teens, one tween) appreciated the balance: education without lecture. At Wainilu, we joined a beach clean-up with the crew—our kids were surprised how much plastic washed in. Evenings were for stargazing; the lack of light pollution near Kalong Island was staggering. The cabins were simple but well-designed—our teens claimed the forward twin room and loved the privacy. Wi-Fi was limited, but we’d expected that. Honestly, the disconnection was part of the reset we needed.

Our family—two adults, two teens—chose the Aimar Phinisi for its balance of space and intimacy. The teens had their own cabin forward, while we took the Master Suite aft, connected by a wide companionway. We spent a full day at Manjarite, where the kids snorkeled until their lips turned blue. The crew provided hot chocolate and fleece wraps the moment they climbed aboard. At Taka Makassar, we walked the sandbar at low tide, then swam back as the tide rose—safe, thanks to the guide’s watchful eye. The boat’s 2024 build shows in the quiet mechanics: silent generators, smooth winches, no engine hum. The open-air dining area became our living room—meals stretched into conversations, which stretched into laughter. One night, anchored near Kalong, we watched the bats take flight—a swirling column rising into the dusk. The teens, usually glued to screens, were transfixed. No Wi-Fi helped. We left feeling closer, quieter, and somehow lighter.
