Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Leticia Liveaboard. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

The Leticia Liveaboard operates with the precision of a Swiss watch, yet feels effortlessly warm. We boarded with our two children, aged eight and eleven, skeptical they’d tolerate a full week at sea. By day two, they were naming the crew, identifying reef fish, and begging for later lights. At Padar Island, we hiked together—the view over Komodo’s tri-bay coastline is the kind you describe for years. The boat’s layout meant the kids could roam safely, while we had quiet corners for reading or napping. The galley accommodated their picky palates without fuss—grilled banana pancakes, mild sambal on the side. Evenings on deck, with the sound of water against the hull, became our ritual. Wi-Fi is limited, which we initially lamented—until we realized our daughter had read three books in four days. The staff anticipated needs: extra towels, reef-safe sunscreen, even a small birthday cake when they noticed the date. This isn’t just a trip; it’s a recalibration.

Leticia Liveaboard was the perfect setting for our babymoon—luxurious, secluded, and deeply romantic. Sailing into Pink Beach at dawn, the sand glowing under soft light, felt like a scene from a film. We spent hours wading in the shallows, hand in hand, before retreating to our suite for a private breakfast. The staff anticipated our needs—extra towels, chilled water, even a moonlit massage on the upper deck. Snorkeling at Manta Point was unforgettable; even from the surface, the ocean pulsed with life. The only hiccup? The air conditioning in our cabin took time to cool in the afternoon heat. But the trade-off—natural ventilation, breezy linens, the scent of ocean salt—was worth it. Leticia offers more than comfort; she offers connection—to nature, to each other, to the moment. Komodo has never felt so intimate.

Tapi chef mau modify kalau diminta, jadi kami request nasi goreng sekali, langsung dikabulin.

Tapi minor banget.

Leticia Liveaboard redefined what a luxury sailing experience could be. From the moment we stepped aboard, the blend of Balinese craftsmanship and contemporary design was striking—polished teak decks, linen-draped lounges, and an open-air dining area that felt both intimate and expansive. We anchored at Batu Bolong, where the currents brought in swirling schools of jackfish and reef sharks—perfect for my photography expedition. The dive team anticipated every need, prepping cameras and guiding us to the most photogenic crevices. Later, at Pink Beach, the crew arranged a private sunset cocktail setup right on the shore. The only minor note: the Wi-Fi was spotty, but honestly, that felt more like a blessing than a flaw. With just 10 cabins, the sense of privacy was preserved, even during a corporate retreat with 18 of us. Service was seamless—champagne always chilled, linens crisply turned, and every meal a curated journey through Indonesian flavors with a modern twist. This wasn’t just a trip; it was a masterclass in refined travel.

Ten friends. One legendary boat. Leticia Liveaboard turned our reunion into an epic. From the first toast on deck near Long Beach—golden light over calm water—we knew this would be special. The yacht’s layout encouraged camaraderie: long meals under the stars, card games in the salon, sunrise coffees on the bow. We hiked Komodo Island with guides who brought the ecosystem to life, spotting dragons and megapodes with ease. Diving at Taka Makassar revealed healthy reefs and strong pelagics—our group’s highlight. The cabins were spacious and serene, though the shower drainage slowed after heavy use. But that’s a minor note in an otherwise flawless journey. The crew’s attention to detail—personalized dive tags, sunset canapés, even a surprise cake for one of us—made us feel cherished. Leticia isn’t just a boat; she’s a host.
