Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Elora Phinisi. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Elora Phinisi offers a rare equilibrium: adventure and ease, often in the same hour. We kayaked to Kalong Island at twilight, just as the first bats began their spiral into the sky — a moment so elemental it felt ancient. The next morning, we hiked Komodo Island’s trail, spotting dragons and wild pigs in the dry savanna. Back on board, the crew had laid out a spread of tropical fruit and iced jasmine tea. The upper deck became our salon, our dining room, our cinema under stars. The boat’s 2024 build shows — everything functions, nothing creaks. Only critique? The lower cabins lack portlights; fine for sleepers, less so for light-seekers. But that’s a personal note. For me, the darkness was a gift.

Our leadership retreat on Elora Phinisi was a rare blend of focus and freedom. By day, we worked in the shaded salon — excellent airflow, strong coffee, and zero distractions. By late afternoon, we’d be snorkeling off Castle Rock, where the coral walls teemed with anthias and parrotfish. The contrast was deliberate — and brilliant. One evening, we anchored near Nusa Kode and watched the sunset paint the cliffs amber. The chef served a whole grilled snapper with lime and chili, eaten with fingers under a fading sky. The only note? The Wi-Fi struggled during group video calls — fine for disconnection, less so for urgent check-ins. But perhaps that was the point.

Our group of eight divers chartered Elora Phinisi with high expectations — and they were met. The dive planning was meticulous: briefings with GPS coordinates, surface markers, and backup plans for drift dives. Castle Rock was a standout — we descended into a vortex of jacks and white tips, the kind of adrenaline hit you can’t fake. The boat’s layout made post-dive routines seamless: warm water rinse, towel service, and cold brews within minutes of surfacing. One evening, we anchored near Kalong Island and watched the bat swarm from the bow — a surreal, almost cinematic moment. The cabins are compact but smartly arranged; I didn’t miss space. Only suggestion? More nitrox availability. Otherwise, near-flawless execution.

특히 Pink Beach에서의 half-day stay은 진짜 highlight였어요.

Schedule-nya flexible enough untuk early morning shoots — we were at Castle Rock by 5:30 AM, dan the light hitting the rock formations itu pure magic. Di Kanawa Island, pasir pink-nya fotogenik banget under midday sun, dan the shallow gradient memudahkan underwater shots. Kameraku bisa charge tanpa issue, which is rare on boats. For visual storytellers, Elora Phinisi offers both comfort dan access.

A comida?

Saya butuh escape dari board meetings dan Elora Phinisi memberi exactly that. We spent two days mostly anchored di Sebayur Island, where the coral still pristine dan ikan-ikan berwarna-warni berenang dekat surface. The yacht’s layout makes it easy to find your own space; I’d read di shaded lounge sambil dengar ocean sounds. Makanan konsisten enak — executive chef clearly trained abroad, fusion dishes like grilled barramundi with kecap reduction itu elevated. Overall, the balance between adventure dan relaxation sempurna. Nggak terasa seperti package tour, tapi lebih kayak private charter with purpose.
