Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Komodo Surga Bahari Speed Boat. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Dari Banda Aceh ke Komodo, gue bayangin trip bakal melelahkan — tapi Komodo Surga Bahari Speed Boat bikin semua smooth. We spent quality time di Crystal Rock, snorkeling dengan manta rays — surreal! Then next day, hike di Padar Island, view dari atas literally took my breath away. The 2-cabin setup makes it intimate, perfect for couple or small group. Crew sangat attentive, always with a smile. Makanan? Fresh, local, dan beautifully plated. Gue suka touch seperti turndown service dan bottled water setiap pagi. Minor issue: shower pressure agak lemah, tapi gak ganggu overall experience. This boat proves you don’t need 30 meters to feel luxurious. Total escape done right.

Bawa anak-anak kecil butuh planning matang, tapi Komodo Surga Bahari Speed Boat managed everything dengan effortless. Kami berangkat dari Labuan Bajo pagi, langsung ke Gili Lawa — airnya turquoise banget, visibility sampai 15 meter! Anak-anak langsung excited begitu lihat ikan badut dan penyu. Captain-nya experienced banget soal current, selalu aware dengan safety. Kabinnya cozy meski 11 meter, tapi AC-nya agak slow start di siang hari. Tapi overall, the vibe sangat keluarga dan santai. Dinner di deck dengan grilled fish and mango salsa, anak-anak tertidur di atas hammock. Next time, maybe tambah satu hari ekstra untuk explore Rinca Island lebih dalam. Tapi untuk 4 hari, ini balance-nya perfect.

I’ve sailed larger yachts, but few have matched the soul of the Komodo Surga Bahari Speed Boat. Its 11-meter frame moves with the sea, not against it. As a solo traveler, I valued the quiet competence of the crew—present when needed, invisible when not. At Kalong Island, I sat on the bow as dusk unraveled and the bats poured from the mangroves like smoke. The next morning, Castle Rock’s currents drew in reef sharks and barracuda in a swirling ballet. The interior is dated in places—soft wear on cabin cushions, a slow-heating water system—but never unclean or unkind. This boat doesn’t dazzle; it endures. And in Komodo’s wild heart, that’s the highest compliment.

Cuma, deck space agak terbatas buat tripod setup luas. Tapi captain kooperatif banget, mau berhenti lama asal safety memungkinkan. Makanan simpel tapi fresh — ikan bakar every day, tapi enak. Next time, I’d love to do a 5-day trip with more time in Gili Lawa. Overall, solid choice for visual storytellers.

As a solo traveler more comfortable in archives than on yachts, I hesitated before booking the Komodo Surga Bahari Speed Boat. But from the moment I stepped aboard in Labuan Bajo, any academic stiffness melted. The vessel—compact at 11 meters but impeccably maintained—felt like a floating study with sea views. Our guide’s knowledge of Komodo dragon behavior at Rinca Island was nothing short of scholarly, enhancing the raw thrill of seeing them stalk the underbrush. A swim at Kanawa Island’s crescent bay offered coral gardens teeming with parrotfish and a clarity I hadn’t expected. The single cabin I occupied was snug, though the ventilation could be stronger on still nights. Yet, the silence of the open sea, broken only by lapping waves, delivered a rare mental reset. For the intellectually curious, this journey is as nourishing as it is scenic.
